Seven Steps to MorePart I By Lorraine Michaels Delivered during the Stockholm, Sweden Peace Conference, September 30, 2006. Just a few weeks ago the masters inspired us with the concepts of the steps to love, where there are seven steps to love that correspond to our seven bodies, four lower and three upper. What I am going to talk about today are the four lower steps and how that relates to our rights. Because we are here in the physical we need to work on these four lower bodies and understand these levels of love so that we can be inspired to come from this place of love. The motto that I was inspired with years ago in our mission was "Love is the key". We know that the heart is the center of love. And we know in New Age movements they talk about being this love where they keep saying all you need to be is love, love, love. But love is not the simple New Age concept of love. We can't just love everyone. It is not that simple. Because if you love everybody and just accept them as they are then you are actually feeding that which is unreal in them. The goal is that we are to become the Christ. And at the center of Being - when we become the Christ - that is where we discern our levels of love. So today we are going to look at the understanding of some of these steps to the higher form of love, the Divine Love that we are in I AM and some of the traps that keep us stuck in the human love. Tomorrow we might be inspired to talk about the upper half of this below illustration and the Divine Love in "right" that we can bring from Spirit into matter. In prior dispensations of the Masters, we were encouraged to reach our ascension and just complete the bottom half of these steps illustrated. In this Age and dispensation, we are encouraged to Be all that we are Above here below. Many of us have had personal experiences in these last six months, where I see we are being called to manifest these higher steps to love above the level of just attaining Christ Love. We have been inspired to be more love in action, with more Christ discernment. One such place I have seen this is on our forums. We have a forum on the Ask Real Jesus website which we started almost two years ago. And Shangra-la had a forum the year before that. So I have been working with forums for three years now and working with individuals that come to the forum type of environment. And they are unique individuals. Most people really don't have time to go visit a forum on a frequent basis. But the people who do are of a certain type. And I know many of you here have participated in forums because you have talked during this weekend about going on the Conversations with God forum and finding the Ask Real Jesus website through that forum. It is not that we are just one type of individual that participates on forums, but you may notice that there are certain types of individuals who gravitate to forums. And some of them are quite aggressive and they come in and they seem to be bent on destruction or controlling the forums. And I have never seen the ability anywhere else, that many have attained to on our forums, to be able handle most any type of individual who is out of balance in love and not in Christ Love. It has taken us months and months of practice to learn to be this Christ Love at the center of Being and not swing to being too passive and soft or swing to the other direction of being too aggressive or unkind. I have never participated in forums outside our websites, although I have occasionally read forums from various venues. I am not interested in just chatting as some forums get into, although you see I participate quite frequently on ours when I have something to say to impart truths. And what I have noticed about forums is there always seem to be one or two individuals who are destructive. And no matter what good purpose people have set up their forums, these type individuals would come in and tear apart the fabric of the love and the support or whatever purpose their forums were set up for. That is not a rare thing to notice, as we are all smart enough to see and realize if we have participated to any degree in a forum. So what do we do? Don’t we have a right to do things on this planet and not be destroyed in what we want to create? You know when you create something, when you make something beautiful, and someone comes along and destroys that creation and says, “I have a right to come in and hit and knock down your creation. That’s my right! I am here on this planet too.” Do we just love that individual? Do we support that individual and just say: Its okay, I just need to love you? I just need to turn the other cheek and let the karma descend? You can destroy my things all you want and I will just turn my back and create another one and that’s that? Or is there a higher Divine Love that is not generally practiced on this planet that does not allow the abuse to continue, and does not take us out of harmony and Being? And we see the kind of the philosophy of the New Age love as “just love everyone” and be kind and forgiving no matter what another does to you. In fact, you are encouraged to not even look at evil, as you may be giving it attention and your light. So if you ignore it, it will eventually just go away. But it is just not that simple. I think you can get the misunderstanding through Christianity and religion where we are taught to turn the other cheek, that we are just suppose to do that, just love and forgive. But there are levels of love and that is what we need to understand. It is not that simple as we have been taught through some religious movements. The Need to Understand what Love Is So my goal all through my life was to understand our psyche and figure out how to be a better person. Love was always an interest to me because I seem to have it lacking in my family. I come from an English background and my families very stoic. You know you don’t talk, you don’t kiss, you don’t hug, you don’t touch and you don’t even express feelings, especially not love. So it was virtually a void in love and understanding love, that I grew up in. And yet my mission in life was to bring love and that is what I was shown. I came into life, as part of my mission, to pass on my love to this family I was born in. But what I found out was that I was unable to express love to my family because they didn’t have any interaction with me. I couldn’t love them or rather I was put into the circumstance of not being able to give them my love. Being a helpless baby, although quite aware as an infant what I was to bring to my family, and then later during my early years, I lost my purpose and became quite like my family in their inabilities to express love. When you first come into embodiment you have more of an awareness of who you are and your mission and why you are here. And as you grow to two or three years old, gradually that inner memory fades and you become part of the world and identify with the ways of the world. And your inner memory fades from the conscious mind. At that point, and even before then, you become very vulnerable to the destruction of your purpose on earth and why you are here. So that is one of the reasons why I suggested that I could talk to each of you individually and help you discern a little bit about who you are, that uniqueness that Mother Mary talked about, that unique being that you are and that you have come to be in the world. And when you are not Being that you, you are affected in your giving of love because you are not at peace. The only way you can truly be at peace in not having the warring in yourself is that you are allowed to express yourself and be who you are. Forums as a Learning Experience But what we are tolerating often is others’ abuse. And we see this on forums, where only a few, if any, individuals will stand up to abusive individuals - whether it is overt or covert abuse. Usually there is not swearing and that kind of abuse, although there may be quite aggressive speech and unkindness to each other. But there is often this hidden abuse of taking time and energy from each other. And in our forums in the past, there has been abuse of the purpose of the forum. So we have had to set down an outer framework of what we want to keep as standards on the forum and then we have this margin of latitude that we decide how much and how far we will allow individuals to impinge upon these outer rules that comprise the framework. And each one of us has varying degrees on what we consider an impingement on those rights set up in the outer framework. And we have been tricked into extending further latitude for some because we have believed their lies. So do we allow that? Many people on our forums are very loving individuals and are very supportive and loving towards all, even those who abuse in subtle ways. We tend to give a large margin of tolerance to individuals who we believe need extra tolerance because they don’t know better and might come from abusive backgrounds. Is that really right? And is this truly Christ Love? So these are the kind of things we do and are taught as loving, Christian, Christ-like individuals who in our love for all, even the abusers, believe this is how we should express our love. So eventually Kim and I had to deal with abusive people coming into our forums. If you do not set up an outer framework and rules, in a forum environment and in any organization, the darkness will come in and destroy from within. And that is because of this inability to love “right” and be willing to look at evil square in the face and discern through the Christ Mind and Christ Love that evil exists and many embody that evil or are used by evil forces to destroy that which is right and good. Some who came to our forums were part of the Masters’ teachings and others were those who seem to gravitate to religious forums, or were more New Age students who have no Christ discernment and believe the philosophy that “anything goes” as long as you couch it under Christ Love. They are often the wolves in sheep’s clothing, disguised as sons and daughters of God, but really come to set themselves up as the guru or take on the role of the Serpent in the Garden of Eden. But even the so-called students of the Masters were not all in Christ Love or Christ Wisdom, but were like all the infiltrators in every spiritual movement, where they come to steal the Light or set themselves up as idols to be worshipped. So Kim and I have been guided over this last year to discipline those who have been abusive on the forum and to help those loving people on the forum be loving to all participants, while not allowing others to abuse their rights and what rights we have established for the forum. It took me months of contemplation to understand what was going with various individuals who were either taking time and energy from others or were using others for ulterior motives. False Humility And this one day I finally realized that a few of these people I had been dealing with were not humble and some had ulterior motives and maybe were presenting themselves to us and others as so for self-serving motives. And the Masters were very pleased with my realization and let me know that they were and confirmed to me that this had been the modus operandi of the fallen angels on this planet to work side by side with individuals of the Light in false pretenses. And they told me that these individuals know they cannot fool the sons and daughters of God with their pride. So they created this false humility to trick them into working side by side with them while they steal the light and work off of their coattails. So with this understanding I also realized that I could be strong in dealing with these people and not allowing them to continue stealing light. I knew I loved God more than I needed to be accepted by these individuals, and even by others who might see me as unkind in my sternness with such type of people others might still believe were humble and kind individuals. But this understanding also creates another difficulty and that is that you need to keep aware and awake of the people around you. So rather than just trusting that the people who come to you have really come to help out of the goodness of their hearts, you have to judge people. We know that Jesus admonishes us not to judge where he said, “Judge not lest ye be judged”. But we cannot just take that statement out of context as it then gives one the ability to throw back in our faces that we have no right to judge, even from a Christ perspective. So it might behoove us to understand his meaning by reading the entire text so we will not have these words of Jesus thrown in our face to stop us from Being the Christ. He said,
He is not saying do not judge another, but admonishing us to look first at ourselves and our actions. If we have any trace of what we see in another, we first need to address our own issues before we can point out another’s. But when we have removed the beam from our own eye, we have the right to point out the mote in our brother’s eye. And when we allow others to abuse us or our creations, we are not being the Christ when we blindly turn our eye, and even our cheek to their actions. Jesus is also telling us that we may judge “righteously” and when we do, we too will be judged righteously and fairly. This does not mean that Jesus’ admonishment to turn the other cheek is wrong. For there is a time and place to do that action and through Christ discernment we will know when to turn the other cheek and when to judge righteous judgment and speak out against abuse. Jesus spoke out many, many times to the Pharisees, to the Sadducees, to the power elite of the day, challenging their lies and bringing righteous judgment of their actions. What I learned, and that the Masters were really pleased that I had understood and could share with others, was that we can and should discern between people who are truly humble and come to serve and those who are truly prideful and come to steal the light. But we cannot judge from the human sense or we will be judged from the human level. We must judge from the Christ consciousness with Christ discernment. And we must practice that judgment or we are open to being used by those of false humility as well as open ourselves to having our good works destroyed. We may then lose time, money and the energy God has given us to create good works and treasures that can be stored in heaven. The Understanding of El Morya's name of More In the late 19th century the masters worked with Helena Blavatsky from Russia, who established the Theosophical movement. The three main masters who worked with her were: El Morya, Kuthumi (or the Master Koot Hoomi Lal Singh) and Djwal Kul, also known as the Master D.K. These three individuals, we are told through the Ascended Masters’ Teachings, were the Three Wisemen who came to the birth place of Jesus over 2,000 years ago. They were all in embodiment at the time, and in their own way came together to find the birth place of the incarnating Christ child.
Now this turban represents the causal body, or spiritual attainment that one has earned from doing “right” works. El Morya has a blue diamond that is embedded in his turban representing the diamond shining mind of God. And when you look at the picture that is traditionally used by the prior dispensations of the masters, you see a picture of El Morya, but that picture has far more power than you can realize. And so I was directed to use this picture on the Shangra-la website under the section for Teachings of the Ascended Masters. And that is because that picture transfers to you, from the vibration of the Master Morya, the vibration of God Power and “More”. Mother Mary referenced this “more” in her dictation just delivered and I have written several times on the power of Morya’s name and the meaning of “More”, as well as El Morya speaking himself about “more”. So “El” in the name El Morya, is the name of God and we see that “el” is used in many names of God Beings: angel; Gabriel; Michael, etc. The name Elohim is also translated into "God Almighty". Elohim meaning "All Powerful One". It is derived from the root "El" which means "Power, Might, Exceeding Greatness". In the original Hebrew texts El-Shaddai was translated "God (El) Almighty (Shaddai)". In Morya’s life as Abraham, the Lord God appeared to Abram when he was ninety years old and said:
“El” in Spanish is also used as “the” and so we can call this illustration of El Morya “The More You Are of God”. The More You Are
The Christ is the nexus point between Above and below. The term Christ is often related as being synonymous with love. So we can see as the center point in this chart of Steps to More (represented in the center circle) is the Christ love on the earth. Thus one of the major goals through the matter plane is to be this love. The other term linked with Christ is “mind”, the Christ Mind or Christ Consciousness. And thus the other major goal in the matter plane is to be in the Christ Mind and one with the Christ Consciousness. So the Christ consciousness is the nexus point between the Father-Mother God Above and us below. And on this chart we see the Father and Mother in the lower half below, as well as the son. And again, the son is between the Father-Mother below, because the son is the center point of the Father-Mother and the offspring of the Power-Creator force of the Father and the Love of the Mother. So we the son at the mental body level, is Christ Love through the plume of wisdom in the threefold flame. So before we may be the Christ Son represented in the center circle while in the physical, we must balance the Father-Mother energies within ourselves through the son below. This balance is represented in the Threefold Flame anchored within our being - within our heart chakra. Father representing power, Mother love and son is wisdom. When we balance the three flames, we manifest that Christ Consciousness and enter the center Christ in this illustration, and within us, the center of our Being. There we begin the inner initiations between Spirit Above and matter below as we merge with the Universal Son or the Universal Christ Consciousness. And thus we have the opportunity to “Be here below, all that we are Above”. We then have this figure eight flow between the energies Above in Spirit - Father/Power and Mother/Love - and the energies below in Father-Mother Power-Love through the wisdom of the Son. At the Father level is the Spiritual or etheric body. At the level of the Mother is the emotional body. At the level of the son is the mental body. At the level of the soul is the physical body. The physical body doesn’t have any permanent reality until it is raised up to the level of the etheric body. Likewise, the soul has no permanent reality until it is raised up to the center of Being one with the Christ Consciousness. Below the Father, Mother, Son and soul we draw a line to represent the division between that Saint Germain created out of love and that which is anti-love. Mankind are generally creating below this line. The soul is the vehicle that was created when mankind fell. But prior to that time above this line we didn’t have a soul vehicle, we didn’t need one because we were in this place of balanced love. Below the line we have anti-love, the ego, the carnal mind, the human consciousness and all those things that are a part of ourselves that are not real. When we left off being the son or daughter in wisdom, manifesting the Father Power and the Mother Love, we fell into the duality consciousness and out of the Christ consciousness, represented as below this line. Since we were no longer in perfect love, we created an imitation love based on the misuse of the Father in controlling love, and Mother in non-nurturing, co-dependent love relationships. So there is no reality or any “right” below this line and no God love, but only an imitation love. Everything Saint Germain created out of God Love of “right” reality and Divine Love is above this line. We have four levels of Divine love depicted on this illustration: “Christ” Love; “Being” Love, at the level of the Father; “nurturing” Love at the level of the Mother and “Will to Be more” love at the level of the self. If we lose the “will to be more”, stop nurturing ourselves, others and being able to receive nurturing, and stop Being who we are, we fall below the level of Divine Love. Thereby the soul vehicle is created. But the only way to get back into the wholeness of the threefold balance is to will to “be come” more. It is a choice. It isn’t anything we can make anybody do, it is something that we must do from inside of ourselves. So this is what is needed on the planet - the will to be more and to become that Divine Love we were created to Be. But unfortunately on this planet there is all this anti-love. The majority on the planet are creating down below this line, and many of us in the Ascended Masters’ Teachings have been creating from this level, too. And it is only through the Teachings and from the I AM THAT I AM that we have been able to see the fallacy of staying in this anti-love. As we come into the understanding of the Christ consciousness then we make the choice to “be come” and notice it is a small “b” and when we get above the line it is a big “b”. So it is like maturing from becoming more, to being more to eventually Being Love.
So this illustration is the describing the bottom circle of the Chart of the I AM. When you are in the world down here you have to have this will to be come more. And more is really another name for love because more is the expanding part of God. So God created us in more. God was already everything but in order for him to become more, which is an expression of love, he creates the vehicles that we are, the spirits that we are, as extensions of himself. And then he takes away the seeing and knowing that we are already Being, and gives us “free” will. Then you have to will to Be and in that will to Be you become more. Because if God already is everything then we would Be everything and then there wouldn’t be any more. So it is a cosmic mystery how he does all that, but really it is all about being more and that is why the illustration is called “El Morya” or “The More You Are” and the “You” is God. Integrating the Soul through the Will to Become More Before you can actually will to be all this love in the upper levels you need to get the soul integration. So it is one of the key things that New Agers or people on the path, just starting the path of spirituality, need to work on. And there are Shamans and those who practice Shamanism, who will do soul retrievals for you. The Ascended Masters taught in the Summit Lighthouse that you can do it in a protected forcefield and only by the Messenger. I really do not endorse that we have to do it only with a Messenger or in a special environment, but that you can do the soul retrieval yourself. But you can have help in doing it, but not by a Shaman who goes out and retrieves your soul pieces for you. The reason you need to do it yourself, which the prior Messenger’s soul ritual work was to help you retrieve your own lost soul parts, is because if anyone brings back the lost parts for you, you will most likely not be able to hold onto those fragments returned. The only permanent, sure way of healing your soul fragmentation is to love your soul as yourself, to love the soul that you have rejected. The soul has become fragmented because you have rejected some part of yourself and replaced that soul part with some unreal manifestation such as the lower ego creation or even a dark force such as an entity or discarnate spirit. So the soul has fragmented because you are not whole in loving yourself. What returns you to wholeness is love. So a Shaman or other type of healer can go and rescue your soul parts and have them returned to you, but they are not going to stay connected and integrate back with your major soul part because you have not healed the cause of the loss of loving yourself. Your soul fragments will just scatter away again because you do not have enough love to hold them to you. And what many have done is that they tell themselves that this part of themselves they don’t love and this other part and so on. And those soul pieces either become fragmented inside of the self in the soul chakra or they become lost floating around the universe or given to others to control. I have worked with enough individuals and on myself to know that this is true. And usually it is some concept about yourself or some belief that is put upon you or you have taken on as a truth, that holds you back from loving yourself. We have just finished the cycle of the “Loving Yourself” rosary delivered by Mother Mary, as an opportunity for us to start healing and integrating those soul pieces of ourselves we are not loving. Although it is important to love other individuals, the very first important thing is to love yourself. You cannot truly love other individuals until you love yourself. And so one of the ten commandments says “Love your neighbor as yourself”. In reality you can’t love your neighbor until you love yourself. Churches often present that commandment as you need to love your neighbor no matter what, and never mind about yourself. In fact, the Catholic Church has hammered into its followers that mankind are sinners and worthless. So do Christian fundamentalists. In all reality you need to love your neighbor as yourself. Which means you have to love yourself. And thus if you are not loving yourself, you are not loving your neighbor. You are really not loving anyone, not in Divine Love, but more in the human love. And this is a lie that needs to be challenged. So that is the love we need to get, loving yourself at the soul level. So we first have to will to become more. You can’t just say I will to become love because then you are still going to be stuck in the human interpretation of love. So you have to will to become more and then you realize that in your will to become more you can start surrendering the need to be controlled or to control and turn instead to God control and God Direction. Will to Be More Love We are at this place where we are using this Christ discernment to say, wait a minute now, I need to love myself and in the process of loving myself l need to not allow others to abuse me or take away my God given rights. So in this illustration is shown the process of balancing the Father-Mother-Son aspect of our Being, the threefold aspect of love-wisdom-power, and the four lower bodies that correspond to those aspects of Being. These initiations and steps occur on the outer seven rays. When we have balanced those aspects of Being we can enter the secret chamber of the heart in this soul bonding ritual with our I AM Presence, and begin the process of initiations on the five secret rays. First, we have to will to be come more. We will to become whole and complete in our soul, to let go of the carnal mind and ego attachments and creation. We have to want to be more of something beyond our attachments to the things of this world. From there we work through the three loves of Father, Mother and Son simultaneously. We seek to balance our love in the wisdom of why we should love more through the Son. In the Mother nurturing love we desire to give love in nurturing ourselves and all life. In the Father love we will to Be. And we begin to see why the following individual Ascended Beings help us in whatever steps of love we need help. Jesus teaches us how to be more love in all we do. Mother Mary and some of the other lady masters help us to love in nurturing, and El Morya helps us to love to Be. Saint Germain helps us to love ourselves and be creative free Beings. Together, the masters work in the body of God we call the Great White Brotherhood, a body of saints East and West who have mastered the physical realm through the initiatic process and continue to stay with the earth plane to help those who have yet to pass these same initiations. The term “white” has nothing to do with race or color, but simply is the description of what these masters create as they form this body of ascended saints East and West. White describes the light as it appears around these saints. Nurturing Love Being Love Being is really letting go of the sense or need to do anything. It is like you step backwards and just let fall away all the attachments and need to do to make things happen and allow the “You” who you are to step forward and Be in the place where you are at. It is being in the moment. It is not about thinking what I should do tomorrow or what I have done in the past, or what I need to do now. It is just Being. So in teaching me what this really meant, to Be, I would sometimes receive “You are Being”. And I would think back to what I had just done. And usually could not find what I had done that would have brought me into a state of Being. I believe the concept finally was realized within me after the Easter conference in 2004. We had a few people who stayed after the conference and we took them around the Hudson Valley in New York to see our local high points. And in each place we went, there I would receive the confirmation that I was Being, or the request to “Be” in this place. We first went up to a Buddhist Monastery in the Catskill mountains. There are several spiritual retreats up there and the vibration of the land in this area is of peace and you can notice the tangible difference in vibration as you move away from New York city and the suburbs north of the city. Where you generally find peace, you have a better chance of finding the vibration of Being. And so although the Buddhist temple was closed when we arrived, this little old man came out to meet us and although he seemed to speak very little English, directed us to follow him. He led us to the main temple where he unlocked the door for us and allowed us a few minutes to just “Be” in this temple. So we chanted a few mantras of the Ascended Masters and shared our Being in that place. Then he led us into another building and directed us to sit down on cushions in this little room, where it seemed to be a meditation room. We had no idea what we were suppose to do in this room, as none of us had ever participated in Buddhist rituals. But my God Self directed us to just “Be” in this place. And so we just sat in meditation and silence without doing anything. We left before the monk came in to lead the chants or whatever would follow in their Being in this place. In both places we visited in that monastery, I received we had anchored Being. I was beginning to understand the concept of the difference between doing and Being. Another day we went to the Omega Institute in Rhinebeck, New York, where I thought Being would surely be. It is a cultural place of learning for New Age teachings. They have a large campus of over 140 acres, with a lake, spiritual center, bookstore and campus. And wherever we walked on that campus, even in their sanctuary, there seemed to be lacking Being. It was a place of “doing” all the right outer things and more. But the more was not of true love of the higher realms, but the love of the human for the sensual parts of love, human desires and the idolatry of money and prestige. They catered to the rich who could afford their high tuitions. So we did not find Being there. And it was in such a stark contrast to the spiritual retreat we had just experienced in our humble setting of a Buddhist retreat center where a few of us gathered to Be together for four days. The next day we took a hike up to some spectacular waterfalls near our home. You can actually hike up behind the falls themselves, and experience the euphoria from being in all those positive ions released from the rushing water around you. So we sat behind the waterfall for a few minutes and did nothing. Again, I received that we were Being in that place and yet we seemed to be doing nothing as we were inwardly directed. But in reality, we were simply allowing the Self that we were to Be through us. For each one of us, that Being would be different, as it is qualified by the God flame that we are. But when we get into the mode of doing, we often manifest the lower ego aspect of ourselves that is anti-Being. So this type of feedback continued to help us understand the difference between doing and Being. Following Inner Direction It turned out that this restaurant was just built and recently newly opened. I wanted something vegetarian and it just so happened that there was only one dish on the menu that could qualify as vegetarian and so I ordered that. Meanwhile, I was directed to anchor Being in the doorway of that place. I had no idea how to do that, but nevertheless, I just imagined that I was Being in that doorway and asked for that Light of Being to be anchored there. Since then Kim and I have now traveled around many places in the world where we have been directed to anchor this Being, but this was the first time I was directed to do so. Once you come into Being, you too can be directed to anchor this Being in strategic places upon this planet. And this service can be far-reaching, as once that Being is anchored, everyone who passes through that Being, or partakes of it, will be given the opportunity to “Be or not to Be” and thereby accelerate the judgment so that we can accelerate the cycles on this planet to help bring in a Golden Age of Enlightenment where only those who have the Will to Be will remain on this planet. All others will either be given an opportunity to grow on another planet or if there time of opportunity is up, to be taken to the second judgment for not willing to transcend and Be the More. So this particular day at this restaurant I had ordered my meal when the waiter came back and said the vegetarian meal was not available that day and I must choose another dish! Since there was no other dish on the menu I could eat, he suggested taking the meat off of one dish. So I ordered that, while still wondering why this place we were directed to anchor Being. After our meal we received the bill and it was surprisingly only $8.00, which would be far below the cost for two meals. So we asked the waiter why the bill was so low and he said since my meal ordered was not available that my order was for free! So we have many times been rewarded for following the inner direction. And I have dozens of these stories of how the Masters bestow these small gifts upon us when we are obedient to the inner direction. So these experiences taught me in following divine direction. Since it is part of my God flame, that is what I have come to teach others, the love of Being divine direction and the love of the will to Be divine direction. And everyone, whether it is a part of their God flame or not, have to learn to follow divine direction. So in the early days of my inner training, I was asked to do things that seemed to go contrary to even the teachings given through the Ascended Masters. I have been told to take hypnotherapy training, which was not hypnosis which the masters do not endorse, but close enough to cause you to question whether you are really receiving the right direction from within. I have been told to go see a psychic, something I would not have see could be beneficial to a student of the Ascended Masters. Yet while on trip to the East Coast one summer, the Maha Chohan asked me to seek out a psychic for a healing session. I first balked at the idea and when the direction stayed the same, I checked out the local psychics and found one that was practicing hypnotherapy. So I called her and made an appointment and ended up having a hypnotherapy session with her where I retrieved the last fragmented soul part of my soul! Had I not been willing to go beyond my outer conceived idea of what the master meant me to do, I would have missed that opportunity. And my confirmation that I was in the right place was when I walked through her door and met her, she said to me, “Do I know you from somewhere? You look very familiar.” And I knew I was in the right place because often we remember the people and remember the places from the retreats. While out of our bodies during sleep and in the retreats of the masters, we are shown people, faces, and places to help us know we are heading in the right direction. Later, when awake, we meet these triggers that confirm to us we are on the right track of our divine path. This whole East Coast trip was done because the Maha Chohan asked us to go and I and my daughters were willing to follow this direction. It was a phenomenal experience that was profoundly life changing for me because it was all about following the inner direction and Being my God flame. At one point on the trip I was turning onto a road I knew would take me to my daughter’s grandmother’s house. And yet when I turned on to the road I heard the Maha Chohan tell me that I was on the wrong road! So I turned around and headed the other direction, only to find myself almost 30 minutes later back at the same point, knowing it was the right road! And so I wondered at whether I had heard wrong or why the Master would give me wrong direction. On the last night I was there I was intending on sleeping in my van when the Maha Chohan told me to get a motel. I refused, saying it was a waste of money, why should I do that? But inside I felt this sense of remorse that I couldn’t follow the Master’s direction. Yet my inner self said otherwise, “Why do I need to go when I was quite comfortable staying in my van?” And then I come to find out that all of this was a test, every situation, to discover where and how I put the Master’s outer direction above my own inner direction. And I passed the motel test and the psychic test, but failed the road test. So if we have our boxes of beliefs and ideas of what we should or shouldn’t do, we can become trapped into believing we should love something because we have to, or do something because we have to. When you get in the “have to” and “should's” you are not Being, but rather doing, and often doing out of guilt, shame or pride. In all reality, we should only do what we love, but never without the inner direction that guides us while we might be still trapped by the false love of the ego. We have to replace these false loves one by one by one. And gradually, each step of loving something more than our egos and selfish pursuits, our need to control out of fear or pride, or our insecurities that allow others to put us down, will be replaced with nurturing love, the Will to Be and Being who we are in God. We have to replace our blindness of being just followers, with Christ discernment that guides us in Faith, Hope and Charity. We have the doers, what we need to be doing is Being, then our doing will be right in God. You literally cannot obtain Christ discernment through the human intellect or human expectations, it can’t be done. You can only obtain that Christ discernment by letting go of the fears that keep you in those boxes. And then be willing to take chances and practice and find what pans out and what doesn’t, as I did on the trip with the Maha Chohan and with the gifts the Masters often bestow upon us for right action. Kim: Your I AM Presence is up here and you are focused down here and in the center is your Christ self. The important thing is to know that your connection to your I AM Presence is inside yourself. What the Ascended Masters have done is that they have tried to create some kind of a bridge. El Morya started a number of years ago an organization “The Bridge to Freedom” and the whole concept is that because we are stuck down here we can’t contact our I AM Presence directly and therefore we need a bridge. I remember a number of years ago I had been in the Summit for a long time. I studied all their teachings and I suddenly started thinking about my I AM Presence. And I started realizing that no matter how many times the masters talked about it, you have to become the Christ. You have to become one with your I AM Presence. So they give us an outer organization, outer techniques like the rosaries. And they can help us, but in the end we can only become one with our I AM Presence inside ourselves. There is no other way. There is no substitute. The masters can’t do it for us. So it is like Jesus has said on the website that anything they give us can become a trap. And I started realizing that it was fine that I was studying the masters teachings and I was seeking inner direction from the masters but what I really needed to do on that point on my path was to almost forget about the masters and focus on my I AM Presence because the masters are still outside yourself. Where your I AM Presence is your Higher Self and that is what you have to become one with. And back then we didn’t have the concepts in the Summit Lighthouse that your I AM Presence can be out of a greater Being that the Masters are out of and that you can have a greater oneness from that place. Co-dependent Love Versus Knowing Divine Direction We get in that mentality of thinking that others can do it for us and that is where we get into trouble. And we can’t because it is all an inner walk. And he was teaching me that I was dependent on receiving direction either from the outer guru or even from the inner guru in himself, who I loved and trusted. And I did this through my inner hearing. And although I was receiving this direction from within, it was still outside of my God Self. I did not seek out this ability to hear the voice of the master within. I was never psychic, nor did I seek out the psychic in any way. The first time I heard a voice inside myself was when I was about 30, and I was driving 2,000 miles across country, alone with my two children in my old car. I was only a few hundred miles outside of my destination and anxious to reach it and pushing my little car to the limit. I was seriously burning oil enough to have to put a quart of oil in every 500 miles. It was almost midnight and very dark outside and I was on a lonely back road in north Florida, when I heard a voice say, “Get off this road.” I didn’t have a moment to ponder those words when I heard it again, this time much louder say, “Get off this road now!” And then something about getting on the main highway. So the next turnoff, just a mile ahead, lead me to the main expressway. I was on that expressway no more than five minutes when my headlights turned off and my engine died. And I rolled off the expressway at an exit ramp and landed in front of a gas station that was still open and there I spent the night. The next morning the mechanic came in and said I had froze my engine by running out of oil and he arranged someone to buy my car for cash. I called my family and asked them to come rescue me and my children and so my sister drove the 300 miles to pick us up. If I had not heeded that voice within me to turn just at that moment, all that followed would have been completely different and much more hazardous and difficult to remedy as swiftly and safely as what happened. Even the fact that the car died just movements before the exit ramp to not leave me stranded on the side of the road. And thus began my inner journey to following the voice within. The next time I heard the voice was probably four years later. I was doing a novena to Kuan Yin and asking for her help and guidance. I was asking if through her divine mercy, she could give me help to move to Montana and win custody of my children so that I might take them with me. I needed divine mercy as the odds were against me in accomplishing this deed with my children. And I did not want to go without them. And yet during the middle of my novena, I heard her tell me to go to Montana without the children! I could not believe my ears. Yet I knew if this was true I would follow that direction to the end of the earth. And so I asked her to give me confirmation that it was true and really her. And the next day my best friend in the Teachings called me from Montana and asked me when I was coming to Montana. She invited me to come stay with her until I could find a place! She said Kuan Yin prompted her to call me. And so I did go without my children. My ex-husband and I came to an agreement. With the help of our attorneys, we decided to have the children come stay with me at the end of the summer and after that we all would choose what was best for the children. If we couldn’t come to a decision, we would work with court mediation. And as it turned out, I met Kim, we married before the end of the summer and he thus came to my mediation and helped my cause to win custody of the children. Kuan Yin’s direction was very hard to follow, but in so doing I made it to Montana, met my wonderful husband, and won custody of the children. Upon reaching Montana I had another goal for living in the spiritual community set up by the Summit Lighthouse. This was before I met Kim. And I could not break through the walls of opposition to moving into the community. I was beginning to get despondent and frustrated so that I was feeling like my purpose for coming to Montana was thwarted. As I was decreeing to El Morya and the Will of God, I heard El Morya tell me, “Be patient!” And I immediately let go of all my desires and striving for this goal. Within a week or two I met Kim and we moved into the spiritual community a few months later. It was again a long interval, five years later, before I heard the voice of the masters again. So in no way did I seek out this communication, nor encourage it. And when I started my healing practice I developed this inner communication and followed the inner direction for my clients. And in so doing that guidance helped tremendously when we couldn’t quite break through the blocks that were often not so obvious to us, but could well be seen from the perspective of an ascended master. And so I developed the confidence to follow through with this inner direction that eventually led me to the East Coast experience with the Maha Chohan. So my gift of hearing was not acquired until well on in my years, with not a sign of any such ability throughout my youth. So you do not have to be psychic to learn to follow inner direction or even develop hearing. Many of the people Kim and I have worked with in these last years have spontaneously developed their inner hearing, just as happened to me. But I tell you, the opposition and criticism against me only grew, as the more I followed my inner guidance from my God Self and the Masters. The more I tried to just Be who I was, the more the gossip and criticism continued. If we understand that what possibly took us out of Being was this opposition to begin with, we realize that we must go back out the same we got into the mess. We must confront the criticism and opposition and fears in being who we are. We must get to the core issue that took us out of Being in order to return to this center of Being the Christ and the son in perfect balance with Father-Mother. Kim: In order to feel safe and not have to confront this opposition, criticism or fears, when we are still somewhat down here being in this anti-love level, what we often do is look for an outer teaching that has rules that we can follow. And there are many organizations and even in prior Ascended Master sponsored activities, where there have been a lot of rules, do this, don’t do that. There is nothing wrong with that at a certain level as you need rules to follow because when you are totally stuck in the ego you can’t see what is true or not true. Your ego will just manipulate you into thinking that whatever it wants to do is right. So that is why you need some kind of rules that say do this or don’t do that and that helps purify your consciousness. The problem is that you can very easily get stuck in following all the rules and thinking that if you follow all the rules you are going to be saved and make it into heaven or make your ascension. The Christian fundamentalist churches that have a lot of rules honestly believe that if they follow them they will go to heaven and everyone else will go to hell. But it is not true. You will not go to heaven or you will not be saved or make your ascensions until you manifest Christhood. And Christhood cannot be done mechanically, it cannot be done by following the rules. It cannot be done blindly. And one of the things that can be very challenging is that Christhood cannot be done if you are not willing to experiment. If you are not willing to run the risk of making a mistake you cannot become the Christ. Because if you are not willing to make a mistake that is when you cling to the rules. And that is when you say, “Oh I just need to continue doing what I was told by this or that authority. And then I will make it.” You won’t. You have to get to the point where you say, okay, I am willing to follow this inner direction, even if it is wrong, like going down the wrong road. Eventually get back on the right road, with maybe some loss of time, but much wiser. So when you make a mistake you can learn from it. But some people are so afraid of making a mistake that they don’t dare to listen to their Christ self because they have decided that they are going to follow all these outer rules and that God simply will then have to save them. And that is what Jesus talks a lot about in the ego discourses. If the ego can’t stop you from finding the spiritual path, the next thing it will do is to make you follow the outer, mechanical path making you think that you just have to follow the outer rules and then you will make it. There literally comes the dividing line where you have to choose to be or not to be. And this is not to be. At some point it is okay to follow the outer rules. But then you come to a point where you are not going to go any further by doing that. And if you are not willing to step it up you are going to be stuck there. Lorraine: It is not quite that simple. You make it sound like your ego is your enemy and your ego is going to make you do this or that. And although it is not your friend it is your creation that you created to suit your needs. You’re the one who wants it and you want it for a reason. So you have to go into yourself, down into this anti-love and you have to discover what it is that you want. And why you are using that ego. And we all have our inroad and it is different for each one of us. And that is the anti-Being, which means it is the anti-God flame which you are. And that is why you need to discover what your God flame is. If you can discover what your God flame is then you can start to reason and understand why you are not Being. And then you will discover why your ego was created. Balancing Our God Flames I didn’t know this for many years in the Teachings. The masters never told us much about being our God flames. Although we understand in the Ascended Masters’ teachings about God flames, I always thought they were referring to the threefold flame that is in the heart. And so when they talked about being a God flame I thought oh, we'll be the balance of love, wisdom and power and be that threefold flame. But then I began to discover about the God flame when the masters told me that I was the twin flame of the Great Divine Director, a Cosmic Being that is the Master embodying the office of Divine Direction. But I could not accept this at first, because in the Summit Lighthouse we only had the concept of twin flames as soul twin flames. And therefore, there would only be one twin soul of the Great Divine Director. And that was unimaginable to comprehend. And yet as time went on and I would not accept that I was the twin flame of the Great Divine Director, I was told one day by a Cosmic Being or my Higher Self, “If you do not accept the Great Divine Director as your twin flame he will go on without you,” something to that effect. And they knew what buttons to push, because I could not imagine letting a master down, and I realized that if there was any truth to this statement and I did not accept that truth, that I would be letting the master down. So that was the beginning of the understanding of a higher concept of twin flames and what our God flame was all about. I did not understand at that time what being a twin of a God flame was or how it was applicable in my everyday life. But in truth, I had always had a strong will and was inwardly directed by the Spirit all my life, going out and working for pay at an early age and then leaving home at seventeen. I always knew what direction to head months if not years before I did anything. And it was not some outer awareness, but an inner drive that would take me to where I needed to go. So in truth, I always followed that inner direction even though I at that time could not hear direction. I still followed it from the inner knowing, which is truly a higher form of following direction than if you just heard it from within from even a Cosmic Being. And this knowing comes about through trust and faith in a higher authority through the love of God and in God’s emissaries, angels and guides. And thereby I was open to receiving input through my mind and heart of which direction to take in life, when and how to bring it in the physical. And what we teach is exactly that, to follow your inner direction above all outer direction, even the outer rules established, be it the laws of the land or the laws of any authority outside your God Self. But if you do not simultaneously eradicate from your being, your lower ego creation keeping you in anti-love, you can be misguided in even knowing what your inner direction is, as it is covered over by the ego direction that wants its way with you. So while I teach inner communication courses and how to follow the God direction from within you, Kim teaches the understanding of the human ego and the pitfalls that Jesus points out to us. You cannot win your victory to this Christ consciousness without both the inner work and inner communion with your God Self and the outer work of understanding the human consciousness and the human ego. So for me, my core God flame and Alpha aspect of that flame was divine direction. Although it took me years to grasp that it was a part of my God flame because I was presented with the other half of my God flame of peace and then later the joy and still later the ecstasy. So I believed that was my God flame. But when Kim discovered his flame was loving truth, over time we realized that love was how he was to bring truth into the world. And truth was the core or Alpha aspect of his God flame and the Omega aspect was love. Thereby, he needed to always qualify his bringing truth with love. And if he did one without the other, either people rejected his truth or they rejected his love. The same for me, except I thought my two aspects were peace and joy. Even after I was helping people discern their God flames, it was quite some time before I realized my Alpha flame was divine direction, thinking it was only related through being the twin of Divine Direction. So if I bring my direction without being at peace and non-attachment to the reception of that direction, my direction will be rejected. If I just bring my peace, even that is rejected with people saying I am too quiet or even stuck up and aloof. So there is a balance we need to achieve in being our God flames, with neither one taking precedence over the other. We need to be the Father aspect of Being which is unique for each one of us because it is qualified by the Omega or Mother aspect with which we nurture in love by qualifying that Being of Father through us. And when we are being our God flames, we won’t need our human ego creations to be for us. We can simply let the ego creation go and our soul then is free to merge with the Christ and then the I AM Presence and then can reach this victory in returning to the center of Being in the Son or Sun of our Self. At this nexus point we can then start the inner path of Being and become one on the higher planes in love. These levels of love and more can be achieved in one lifetime. It is not impossible. Fifteen years ago I was still stuck in the anti-love and human ego creation. Although not all of me. I had part of me above the line of anti-love, working in the levels of love of the Father, Mother and Son. But I was well aware I had a human ego and could feel when it took over and took me out of love or peace or the ability to follow or hear the inner direction and take me back down below the line. The Dark Night of the Soul happens when you have balanced over half of your karma and enough of your soul is intact and integrated with the Real You. So you are consciously choosing to love through being your God flame at least half of the time. You don’t have to know what your God flame is to Be it, but by knowing your God flame, you can accelerate these steps to swiftly move into the Christ consciousness. I went through the Dark Night of the Soul twice, once on my own about 20 years ago and again when I married Kim about five years later and he went through the Dark Night, as when you are married you share joint karma. Over the next ten years I won many victories in being my God flame although I had no idea what a God flame was. I found and restored the fragmented parts of my soul and went through the Dark Night of the Spirit. Five years ago I was free of all personal karma, having balanced most of it before the remainder was taken by a master so that I could start fully carrying world karma. So now I was working entirely above this line of anti-love. Over the next five years I worked on Being love through the Father, Mother and in the Christ love and Christ mind. Thereby, the choices we make to be or not to be more or love, will either slow this process down or accelerate the process. Once the soul is whole, the karma is balanced and the threefold flame is balanced in love, wisdom and power through the four lower bodies, the soul vehicle can merge with the God Self in the secret chamber of the heart. Thereby you are no longer a soul of God, but are restored to a Being of God, a co-creator with God, one with your I AM Presence. You no longer need an individual Christ self and he is returned to the Christ consciousness. You are the Christ and you know it. You are Being. You are not perfect just because you have made it through these steps. In fact, you are still you. And you can wonder why you still feel the same. And that is because you are never entirely the ego creation, nor the soul, nor the Christ, nor the I AM. You move in and out of these various parts of yourself as you move through these steps of love. Eventually you can become more of one or the other. And hopefully, you will choose to be more of the I AM and Christ consciousness. Eventually, when you cross the critical line of Being more love, you have integrated so much of your Being with the I AM that you simply are the I AM and no different than you were the day before. But the levels of love and being more never stop. And thus your ability to fall again below the line never stops, although it is far more unlikely to happen once you have merged with the I AM because you hopefully will not let go of the will to Be. But it can happen and we can never let down our guard to think just because we are karma free that we won’t make karma again. We always are choosing to Be or not to Be. The masters have said that they are not looking for us to be humanly perfect. We know that each of the ascended masters had personalities and even quirks that we might deem as faults and idiosyncrasies. So these outer quirks were not important as long as it did not take them out of Being, but it was the inner oneness which was important. And so the outer quirks might cause one to be imperfect at times. And we can always improve that part of ourselves. Forms of Inner Communication So I had to go about being a sponsored Messenger for the Masters while not being able to hear them anymore! I could not understand why they did this to me. And years went by before I finally understood that I was communing with them at a much higher level. And I could even follow their direction without hearing words. And I knew that the past level I was hearing them was more of a mental level and that we needed to rise even above that level to this inner knowing level where there are no words, but just knowing. So today I can stand before you and confidently teach you what I know the masters want you to know. And you can do the same. You might develop the inner hearing of the voice of your Higher Self or hear the Masters. But even if you don’t you can still develop your inner communication. You can develop that intuition of knowing what is right. And that is what I am directed to teach. Whether you hear, or intuit, or just know, you can follow your own I AM and inner direction. But whether your God flame is divine direction or not, each one of us fell off of following the outer guru or inner guru and we need to return to following that divine direction or we will never return to Being who we are. At some point we chose to not be our God flame and we left off of loving ourselves. The important thing is to return to following the inner direction. You can receive direction from your Christ self and the Ascended Beings, but your I AM Presence generally does not communicate to you through words. You have to remember, you are your I AM Presence. You will receive this inner sense of what is the right thing for you to do if you just allow that oneness, trust, faith and love of your I AM Presence. And we can develop unique ways of intuiting from our I AM Presence while we are still in the duality. But once we merge with the I AM Presence, we are not directed from the I AM, but are impelled into action. God then becomes the doer in us. We do not live in the “should's” but the “can do” reality. There is nothing we cannot do in God Realty and through Being. It is only a lie and fabrication that we are limited beings in the physical. For truly we are God Beings with all the power of God behind us when we believe and live from the place of Reality, even in the physical realm. Kim: It is very important to realize that it is not that you know everything or that somebody or the Masters are going to tell you everything, how to do everything. You can sense it. You can sense what is right. But it is not necessarily an outer Being that is going to tell you what to do. You have to decide. And many time with us we will get general direction from the Masters in various ways and then we have to fill in the details. We have to figure the details out. Lorraine: So they give us a wide margin of creativity within this general direction. For example, we have never been told to put on a conference. But the moment we decide to do one, they are right there with an objective for the conference and a Divine plan and purpose for it. It has always astounded me, that this is so. We are used to the Summit Lighthouse and the planned quarterly conferences that happen the same time each year. But today I feel that we are the creators, one with our I AM and the I AM THAT I AM. We don’t need to ask, “when should we do this and when should we do that and how should we do it.” When the time is right, we are inspired from within to take action. And that is God the doer through us. Kim: But it is like you have to get what they want. The last thing they want is for us to become co-dependent on them. They want us to become independent. That is the difference between a true teacher and a false teacher. Because the false teacher wants you to become dependent on them and you keep feeding them, whether it is money, or energy or whatever. But the Ascended Masters want us to be self-sufficient so we are not co dependent on anything or anyone. Lorraine: So we must return to “Being the More You Are” in breaking away from the co-dependent relationships based in this false love. And we must be careful not to project any these co-dependent relations below onto our spiritual relationship with our inner gurus, whether it be our Christ self, our I AM Presence or the Ascended Masters. And so hopefully this part of the lecture on the Seven Steps to More will help you understand the early steps to rising into oneness with the Christ in the center of your Being, as well as hold the immaculate concept for those you love and meet on a daily basis. You will rather encourage those around you not to become co-dependent on you, at the same time to learn not be co-dependent on anyone else or allow them to control you or you to control them. Once you attain to the level of the love of the Father, Mother and Son, you will gain a new freedom that allows you to Be in the world and not of the world. Because you know everything you need comes from the I AM and not from the things of this world. Thereby you are free to Be who you are in I AM. You are free of all anti-love within you as well as without, because no anti-love can truly touch you because you are perfect love. That perfect love does not make you a perfect human being, as there is no perfect human being. It means you are perfect in I AM. I AM is already perfect. You just need to let go of that which you have created in the anti-love and allow that perfection to manifest through you. And then you will be manifesting the More I AM.

So this is the will to be come more and that is at the bottom of the chart of our I AM Chart. When we developed this I AM chart we were directed to put at the bottom the wanting more which corresponds to what I am talking about today with the “will to be come more”.
