You have the ability to ascend in this lifetime – if you so choose – and balance your karma and meet the other requirements for the physical ascension. But the goal, beloved, is not to reach your ascension and ascend off this planet as swiftly as possible—as many of you have come in with little or no karma and could have ascended already. And that is true. Therefore, you are not here to necessarily balance karma, but to meet other goals which I will tell you about. The goal, beloved, is to take your ascension and put it aside, because you have far greater things to do in this life than work for your own ascension. We have given this goal to other organizations in the past because there were so many souls attracted to them. They were attracted to these organizations of light because they had need of the light and the working out of their karma. Thus we gave to them many goals to help them balance their karma. But we did not expect that these souls would necessarily be the ones who would work on world issues, but instead that they might spend their lifetime on reaching their own particular goals. For you who will be reading these words, we want you to understand that many of you are more than you realize. Many of you have come in specifically to take on world karma and transcend that karma. Therefore you are the souls that we are asking to forego the ascension and stay on this planet as long as possible. There is much work to be done, beloved and we look to our chelas who have the light and the will to be God Being on earth. Therefore, take a moment and contemplate with me what this means. Many of you I have heard explain to this messenger that you have this or that momentum and problem with this or that psychological issue. She has told some of you that you might consider that these are not your momentums, but that you are picking up and transmuting world energies, but that you must accept these momentums as your own. And we have taught that specifically to this messenger because she has been in the healing arts for many years and works personally with people and their psychologies. But she has found that over the years – since she has become a messenger for us – that the souls we send her and who come to this organization, are generally spiritual beings of great attainment. So she has begun to tell people this is so. She does not know for sure that each and every one she has told this to is – or is not – carrying world karma and world momentums, but we certainly have given her the glimpse that this is so for many she has worked with. And I will tell you that 99% of the people she has told this to are definitely here on earth to balance world karma in their body temples, which thereby causes many to have physical disease, as well as to carry the karma in their other bodies** which I explained earlier. When you carry world karma you are – in all reality – carrying karma that is your own. You have taken on the problem and you start to manifest the psychology that created the problem. You feel burdened by energies of negativity, which you believe you have created and are continuing to create. Unfortunately, for a few of you, you have so taken on the momentums that you are contributing to the problem and not transcending them. We are not holding this against you. You knew before you came into embodiment that the path would be long and hard—and hard because you would not know why you suffered like you have. But you must transcend the problems that you have created and realize that these momentums are not your own. Beloved hearts of light, you have come to the physical realm and you are taking on world causes. You have not come into the world with egos. Although our messengers have been talking about transcending the ego for a long time, these teachings are not necessarily for you. We have given them because there are many people out in the world who are trapped in the ego illusions. And many of you have taken on the concept that you have egos and that is why you are creating the problems that you carry. But this is not so. When you came into embodiment you were egoless and had little or no karma. Therefore, these teachings are not necessarily for you, but for the masses. In order to overcome these issues that have presented themselves in your lives, you will have to first claim the problem as your own. And this has been explained to you by myself and Mother Mary in prior dictations. We were preparing your beings for the changes that are about to occur on this planet. There will be a momentous change that will come about in the years to come, but this change will not occur until you who have been awakened to come into the Teachings of the Ascended Masters, wake up to the reality that you are not the ego and that the ego is not your problem. Your only problem is that you are not yet awakened to the reality that you have taken on these issues of the planetary consciousness. We have many souls prepared at inner levels, once certain key individuals awaken to their missions. We have been working unremittingly, with your planetary home, to bring about some profound changes that will herald in the golden age, the Aquarian Age for freedom and enlightenment. But you must take up your positions in this plan. We have done this for many a physical period of time – you could say many a year in your time – that you cannot imagine how much work has gone into preparing each one of you to be in the strategic places you are across this planet. While yet you have risen to a certain level of awareness and attainment, that you could awaken at the right time to implement your divine plans and help carry forth this divine mission. But beloved, many of you are awakened. And many have since realized that you are not the ego and that is not your problem. And our messengers have been working with you – for several years – to help you see that possibly you are more than you imagine you are. They have given you a vision that you possibly are more than what others think you are. That in reality, you are a cosmic being and are really not these images you hold for yourselves—or that others hold for you. You are more, quite a bit more. And with that premise, I would like to speak to you about your missions and what we are holding as a cosmic image for the earth and her people.
You have achieved a high rate of oneness – several times over – in your prior lives and in this life. You may realize this is so. We have witnessed much growth in that area and I can tell you we are well pleased. It is a work in progress, but the work is going very well. Recently, our messengers watched a documentary on one of the great tragedies on this planet in recent times. And that was the history of the dark ages with the Inquisition and the Crusaders. What happened was that there were sponsored groups of souls incarnating in the land of Spain, which was then called Al-andalus.*** There in this land were incarnated souls ready to start the work of harmoniously living and working in a community that was spiritually divided.
But alas, the land did not remain in its peace. Like previous golden ages there were those who could not stand the peace and harmony, who wanted more for themselves and were jealous of that which others had. And so the harmony and peace was broken up, and some of the knowledge that was contained in Al-andalus was allowed to be taken out with those who abandoned the cities. This was fortunate that all the knowledge and reason that we had endowed the people with was not lost, for some of the Christian ruling class decided to save some of the Muslin texts and transcribe them into Latin, first having the Jews interpret and transcribe the texts for them. But later many of such texts were destroyed by the zealots and factions within the Muslim faith. And so we see the divide and conquer energy was predominant within the Muslim’s themselves and largely governed by those laggards that had taken such energies with them from Maldek, where they had destroyed their planet and were later allowed to incarnate on this planet. Today, we still have these factions with their divide and conquer energies, seeking to destroy the harmony and peace that could come about between the Muslims, Christians and Jews that were the gem of Europe in the Middle Ages. So in this experiment we, from the ascended realm, know that mankind are capable of this harmony and existence with differing faiths and beliefs. Christians would buy from Jews, and Jews would buy from Muslims. There was no separation of their existence in the market place or the culture of the cities. And yet they practiced their faiths as they saw fit in the privacy of their own homes. And with this harmony was much abundance. The lands were strewn with houses, running water, and fruits of all kinds, as well as the knowledge that was to transcend these people and all peoples to come. What we would like to see happen once again, as it did with the Al-Andalus people, is that differing cultures and faiths can live together in harmony. What you are discovering is that you are from different cultures, you have different views of what you believe is right for you. Yet you are working to transcend these differences, to come together at certain times and in certain places and do something together that you would not normally do. In other words, you may eat different foods, you may do different practices, you may try differing ideas and thereby you are breaking up the patterns of rigidity that there is only “one way” of doing things—according to your upbringing, faith or culture. And this is a very important goal that has been lost since this last golden age period on the planet. We cannot guarantee that future golden ages will not be destroyed by the rivaling factions. But we can tell you that if these rivaling factions were no longer able to incarnate on this planet, then you would be able to maintain a golden age civilization and finally raise this planet into the sphere of oneness she was meant to become. This is the goal beloved. This is our messengers goal. This is your goal. This is the vision we hold for you and this planet. Therefore the greatest thing you can do today is practice that oneness. And then the next thing is to get out of the idea that you are a limited being in a limited box, with a limiting ego that controls you. None of those ideas are true. They are the unreality and you need to claim your victory by claiming that you will no longer entertain them.
*Magic Circle: an arrangement of the whole numbers from 12 to 75 in concentric circles wherein each radius and each ring adds up to 360. Franklin has also highlighted 20 "excentric" rings, each of which, together with the central 12, sums to 360. **The four lower bodies: spiritual, mental, emotional and physical. ***Al-Andalus In the mid Eight century, the Muslims ruled most of Spain. An Umayyad prince, Abd-al-Rahman establishes himself at Cordova in 756. Here he founds the UMAYYAD Dynasty where he and his predecessors rule for the next three hundred years. Within two-hundred years the Moors had turned Al-Andalus into a bastion of culture, commerce and beauty. In the year 1000 A.D, Cordova, Spain (formerly known as Al-Andalus) was the largest city on earth and the cultural gem of Europe. With the establishment of Abdurrahman III - "the great caliphate of Cordova" - came the golden age of Al-Andalus. It contained hundreds of libraries, schools and universities. Scholars from Europe, Africa and the Middle East flocked to this enlightened center of civilization and knowledge. Students from France and England traveled there to sit at the feet of Muslim, Christian and Jewish scholars. Thousands of Jews and Christians lived in peace and harmony with their Muslim overlords. There were half a million inhabitants in Al-Andalus at its height. Tolerance was unheard of in the rest of Europe. But in Moorish Spain, the Jews and Christians lived in harmony with their Muslim rulers, sharing in commerce and industry. There were 113,000 houses, 700 mosques and 300 public baths spread throughout the city and its twenty-one suburbs. The streets were paved and lit. Irrigation systems imported from Syria and Arabia turned the dry plains into an agricultural cornucopia. But there was never long-lasting peace among the outside factions of Arabs. The Moorish harmony began to break up into warring factions affecting Al-Andalus so that Cordova fell to other Arab forces in 1013 and the great library in Cordova was destroyed. The new rulers permitted the books to be dispersed, together with the Cordovan scholars, to the capital towns of small emirates. These factions continued to make the Moors vulnerable to invasion. And in 1105, Toledo was lost to the Christians. But still, for the next couple of hundred years in this city was created a haven of cultural tolerance. Arabs and Jews were not only permitted to remain but often held respected positions. In Toledo the Arabs had huge libraries containing the works of the Greeks and Romans, along with Arab philosophy and mathematics—which some of these texts had been lost to the European Christians. These huge libraries were opened and brought the scholars of northern Europe to Toledo. Using the Jews as interpreters, a giant translating program began in Toledo, translating the Arabic books into Latin. The texts included medicine, astrology, astronomy pharmacology, psychology, physiology, zoology, biology, botany, mineralogy, optics, chemistry, physics, mathematics, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, music, meteorology, geography, mechanics, hydrostatics, navigation and history. Christians continued to re-conquer Spain, leaving a wake of death and destruction in their path, and eventually took back all the Moorish possessions. In 1492, the same year Columbus discovered the New World, Granada, the last Muslim enclave, was taken. The surviving Jews and Muslims that had lived in harmony with the Christians were killed, or forced to flee if they did not convert to Catholicism. And with this last city taken from the Muslims, the epoch of harmony, tolerance and peace amongst the the three major religions ended. All that survived were their books. Moor culture was destroyed not only by the strength of the Christians, but by their internal weakness of strife amongst their factions, culminating in the disintegration of their civilization.

A Cosmic Image
After the Moorish invasion and takeover, the inhabitants were allowed to continue their faith and practices—while submitting to the Arab rule. For three centuries they lived in peace—except for some disharmony in the Moorish factions vying for power and control. But the object of this community was oneness. And this was achieved in a high degree and with great success amongst its inhabitants. What followed this oneness was a great spurt of growth in technology, science, math and the arts. So much so that this area became the hub of the wealth of knowledge that we sponsored, which the inhabitants transferred throughout Europe and set the foundation for the Renaissance period.
