Declaration of Independence from the Moneychangers

by Lorraine Michaels

This morning I awoke to a new purpose and goal—to eliminate the moneychangers. It is not – and has not been – my forte to know the ins and outs of the financial system. Therefore I have little or no expertise in coming up with the earthly answer to make right the wrongs that have been impinged upon the American society and the many other nations of the world. Yet I am being asked to bring the spiritual understanding to this matter, so that we can focus our attention on what is right in a Golden Age.

We can quickly read and study the exposés that have been compiled on the Federal Reserve, the power elite, the banking systems and the one world order. These reincarnated individuals – from the ranks of the fallen angels – have been practicing their schemes on the people of the light for far too long. Can we take back this planet from their grip?

When looking at the many tentacles and arms that have taken a hold of every facet of society, we can quickly feel the pressure, sorrow and hopelessness of the immensity of their schemes—as well as the hopelessness of those who are caught by them, and don't have the Oneness and hope that God has control of this planet. But God does!

It is God's and we are here! God is here through us. God can and will Be through our oneness with our own God Self. Therefore, no matter how bad things seem in the world around us, we have and can maintain that sense of peace and oneness in that we can make a difference. And God can give us what we need to bring the right change in all these systems that have been taken over by the power elite.

Christopher Columbus
Just look at history and see the many examples of how one man made the difference. On this day we honor in America one man who made a big difference: Christopher Columbus—a man who held a vision and knew how to go after it and make it a reality. As in all good things and good people, Columbus was accused of cruelty and his reputation and mission has been denigrated. Even in his day he was falsely accused. There were so many complaints sent back to Spain from a revolt in Santo Domingo in 1500 that a royal governor was dispatched to Hispaniola where Columbus was arrested, chained and shipped back to Spain. He was later vindicated by the monarchy.*

The facts before this arrest are muddied with untruths. But upon Columbus' second voyage in 1493 and his return to La Navidad, he found that one third of the 300,000 inhabitants of the island had been killed in struggles between Indians and Spaniards. The fort built from the wood of the sunken Santa Maria was burnt to the ground. He set about to restore partial peace with the Indians who had been unjustly treated and to rebuild the fort. He became exhausted by the physical and mental strain of his expeditions and trying times, and he wrote in his journal that he was thirty-three days practically without sleep. He lay ill for five months, during which time he entered into deep communion with God. It was then that he was met by a royal commission who acted in harsh judgment of his administration.

He was sent home in 1496, but in 1502 he appealed for a third voyage and was quickly granted support. Returning to La Navidad, he again found that affairs had not prospered well in his absence. And so displeasing were the reports now brought before the King and Queen by returning colonists, that they sent a new governor to take charge.

Columbus stood accused of severity, injustice, even of his being corruptible and mercenary, and it was then that he was shipped back to Spain bound in chains as a criminal. Meanwhile, Queen Isabella had received a heart-broken and indignant letter written by Columbus to an associate, explaining the events in La Navidad in his own terms. And thereupon the Queen turned once more in the admiral’s favor and restored his property and office.

Saint Germain
To know that Columbus was the embodiment of Saint Germain and that the deep religious faith and spiritual experiences Columbus had were real, is to know a higher purpose for his life and mission. Scholars today find his faith and piety incongruent with the Columbus that was the expert navigator and explorer. They try to explain away his heavenly visions, piousness and encounters with heavenly voices to stress, mental instability or fever.

From scholars' studies of Columbus' journals and letters, you can see into the man and his motives. In 1501 Columbus wrote, "I am only a most unworthy sinner, but ever since I have cried out for grace and mercy from the Lord, they have covered me completely.  I have found the most delightful comfort in making it my whole aim in life to enjoy his marvelous presence."

Why did Columbus, aka Cristóbal Colón, desire to seek the new passage and relentlessly present his plan for a westerly voyage to the East Indies to the courts of Portugal, England, France and Spain? For almost 10 years he waited as he presented his unorthodox ideas to them—some of which was that the world was a sphere and that there was a passage to the Orient across the unexplored sea. But his ideas were rejected by one royal commission in 1490 saying, "the claims and promises of Captain Colón are vain and worthy of rejection....The Western Sea is infinite and unnavigable. The Antipodes are not livable, and his ideas are impracticable."  It was an age of superstition, and the common fears including everything from sea monsters to falling off the “edge” of the world. And indeed, Saint Germain has explained how he had to quell the violent mutiny aboard his first voyage as they remained without sight of land for 30 days.

Columbus felt that Almighty God had directly brought about his journey: "With a hand that could be felt, the Lord opened my mind to the fact that it would be possible...and he opened my will to desire to accomplish that project...The Lord purposed that there should be something miraculous in this matter of the voyage to the Indies."

The many falsehoods that are today presented about Columbus are based on rumors about him and from a third hand manuscript of his first voyage, handwritten in sixteenth-century Spanish that has numerous erasures, unusual spellings, brief illegible passages, and notes in the margins. The ambiguities, errors, and omissions in this manuscript have been compounded in modern-language translations. But you only have to explore his own words in the letters he wrote to see and feel the divine drive behind his move to explore across the sea.

A Man of Vision, Determination and Love
Columbus expressed himself as a man of vision, ideals, determination, will and deep religious faith. It was not easy, by any means, to complete his mission and open the way to the new land. And few people outside of the Ascended Masters' Teachings know that he not only opened up the way to the Americas in that life, but that he is the sponsor and Spiritual Father of the United States of America.

Saint Germain once stood with the American colonists at the signing of the Declaration of Independence and with George Washington as he led the American Revolution. He also stood with Simón Bolívar as he fought to liberate Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia. He moved with José de San Martín as he fought to establish the independence of Chile, Peru and Argentina. He was at the scene of their battles to liberate South America from Spanish rule just as he was with the American colonists as they fought for their independence from the British.

As the Wonderman of Europe he attempted unsuccessfully to warn Louis XVI of the impending French Revolution. The queen, Marie Antoinette, listened, but the forces of revolution eventually prevailed and she was beheaded. But he was there to escort her soul to the retreat of the Great Divine Director in the Himalayas for her healing. He had given his all to avert the French Revolution—but to no avail!  The die had been cast.

In a final attempt to establish a United States of Europe, Saint Germain backed Napoleon, who betrayed his trust and misused his power. So he withdrew his sponsorship and departed from Europe, leaving the continent to face its karmic retribution. Napoleon met his demise at Waterloo, and later Saint Germain turned his attention to the United States of America and to the Western Hemisphere.

And so Saint Germain was there behind the men that formed the Union and established the Declaration of Independence. He was there the day the Declaration was signed in Independence Hall, as the unknown man who stood up and gave an inspiring speech that prompted the 56 signers to place their hand on the document that these men knew could be their death sentence.** As their courage wavered, and the document sat there unsigned he said:

"Sign! if the next moment the gibbet's rope is round your neck! Sign! if the next moment this hall rings with the echo of the falling axe! Sign! By all your hopes in life or death, as husbands–as fathers–as men–sign your names to the Parchment or be accursed forever!

"Sign–and not only for yourselves, but for all ages. For that Parchment will be the Text-book of Freedom–the Bible of the Rights of Man forever!

"Sign–for that declaration will go forth to American hearts forever, and speak to those hearts like the voice of God! And its work will not be done, until throughout this wide Continent not a single inch of ground owns the sway of a British King!

“Nay, do not start and whisper with surprise!  It is a truth, your own hearts witness it, God proclaims it.–This Continent is the property of a free people, and their property alone. [17-second applause] God, I say, proclaims it!"

Christopher Columbus might not have known with his outer mind all of the divine purpose that lay ahead for this discovery and way to the new world. But regardless, he fulfilled his divine purpose, against all odds, to pave the way for the many to immigrate from far away lands from around the world in centuries to come.

The Americas
This land of United States was to be the land of opportunity, the bastion of freedom, where man and woman could have the freedom to choose to Be, to practice what they saw fit as right for them. To have the freedom to choose their lifestyle, their religion, their sacred labor and to learn to defend those freedoms within a framework of the Law that established Liberty in union with one another.

America [America = I AM race] is a divine experiment in freedom. What will the people do with this freedom? At this very hour we are faced with a great challenge that has gone beyond the borders of America. We face a global challenge, as the power elite have slowly established their control of the monies and financial system within America, after establishing their almost complete control of the European nations through their money system.

The Americas were destined to be the birthplace of the next Golden Age, sponsored by Saint Germain in the Aquarian Age of Freedom. Can we dare to give up? Can we dare to bury our heads in the sand to ignore the ploys that are being unveiled before our eyes today? Can we sit back and hope that our prayers will be enough to eradicate this almost complete control over the entire world's money, food, transportation and media?

We cannot! We must take action, not only in the giving and reciting of spiritual prayers and rosaries, but we must physically rise to the occasion. We must use our voice to speak out. We must write and speak the truth. We must be the voices calling out in the wilderness to Be More! And we must not give up!

Victory in the One: "Liberty in Oneness"
It only takes one man or woman to pave the way to a victory that can carry millions forward. Each one of us is endowed with a divine flame and a divine mission. We don't have to worry about what it is that we are to do—we just need to Be it! And we will learn to Be all that we are. We will make it our determination to henceforth put aside these petty differences that divides a people and even friends. We don't have to always be on the same page as another. But we must learn to support each other in unity by allowing the differences that makes each of us unique and allows the divine to unfold within us. We may be separate pages within a book that comprises the book of Life. And the title of that book will be "Liberty in Oneness."

On this day – or whatever day you establish as your day of celebration for the divine flame of freedom that Columbus, aka Saint Germain, anchored in the earth hundreds of years ago, (even eons before that) – pray to be enlightened. Pray that you may join in oneness with the mission of Saint Germain to bring freedom and liberty to all. Establish your bastion of freedom where you are. Cut yourself off from the things of this world that do not support that freedom and liberty. Sacrifice to rise higher every day. Give up the things that support the self and have no support for the development of oneness with Self. And above all love. Love with the deep commitment that Saint Germain has shown for us, for God, for freedom and for Divine Order.

Establish Boundaries
Divine Order comes with the proper use of Divine Laws. Without restrictions and boundaries chaos will ensue, as we see it unfolding before our very eyes from the lack of boundaries within the banking and market places. Establish boundaries within your households and lives. Teach the proper boundaries and limitations to your children and to others. True freedom is established and maintained within the framework of the Laws of God. Know those laws and spread the joy of Being within those laws.

And no matter what unfolds around us, Be the Kingdom of God on earth. Know you have a right to freedom and demand that freedom be maintained within your life. Look to God, not mammon for your daily bread. Know that everything you need will be provided for within the framework of Being within God's laws. When your heart is pure and evil dwells not within it, you will have the right to ask God for anything you need. But accept what God gives you. Do not reject the love, the support, the tutoring, the money, the gifts, the praise.

What God gives you, receive with open arms and share those gifts with those who deserve them. Love all, but be wise in that loving. You are not obligated to support all of the poor or all of the downtrodden, for many have made their own beds and must reap their fruits to learn to love others and themselves. So love them with compassion, stay afar from sympathy and help those you are inwardly directed to help. Learn to be guided from within so that any moment of the day you know you are in the right place, doing the right thing. Be at peace within and the guidance will flow.

And be grateful for everything that comes your way. Everything brings a gift, even adversity. We learn from adversity and we have an opportunity to grow from it. Expand your vision and God awareness and the adversity will not appear to be so bad. Take time to meditate and to contemplate God in your life and God in the vastness of the universe.

We are here for a purpose - a divine purpose. Do not lose sight of your purpose. If you don't know what that purpose is, go after it with determination and will and you will learn it. In fact, you may find that you have been doing the will of God all your life, as each step is a part of the grand ladder of your life and way to Be.

On this day, Columbus Day, October 13, 2008, I claim the Victory of manifesting the Golden Age where I AM! Will you join me?

THE SPEECH OF THE UNKNOWN

"Gibbet? They may stretch our necks on all the gibbets in the land–they may turn every rock into a scaffold–every tree into a gallows, every home into a grave, and yet the words on that Parchment can never die! "They may pour our blood on a thousand scaffolds, and yet from every drop that dyes the axe, or drips on the sawdust of the block, a new martyr to Freedom will spring into birth! "The British King may blot out the Stars of God from His sky, but he cannot blot out His words written on the Parchment there! The works of God may perish–His Word, never! "These words will go forth to the world when our bones are dust. To the slave in the mines they will speak–hope–to the mechanic in his workshop–freedom–to the coward-kings these words will speak, but not in tones of flattery. No, no! They will speak like the flaming syllables on Belshazzar's wall.

The Days of Your Pride and Glory Are Numbered!

The Days of Judgment and Revolution Draw Near!

“Yes, that Parchment will speak to the Kings in a language sad and terrible as the trump of the Archangel. You have trampled on mankind long enough. At last the voice of human woe has pierced the ear of God, and called His Judgment down!  You have waded on to thrones over seas of blood–you have trampled on to power over the necks of millions–you have turned the poor man’s sweat and blood into robes for your delicate forms, into crowns for your anointed brows. Now Kings–now purpled Hangmen of the world–for you come the days of axes and gibbets and scaffolds–for you the wrath of man–for you the lightnings of God!

“Look!  How the light of your palaces on fire flashes up into the midnight sky!

“Now Purpled Hangmen of the world–turn and beg for mercy!

      “Where will you find it?

“Not from God, for you have blasphemed His laws!

“Not from the People, for you stand baptized in their blood!

“Here you turn, and lo!  a gibbet!

“There–and a scaffold looks you in the face.

      “All around you–death–and nowhere pity!

“Now executioners of the human race, kneel down, yes, kneel down upon the sawdust of the scaffold–lay your perfumed heads upon the block–bless the axe as it falls–the axe that you sharpened for the poor man’s neck!

“Such is the message of that Declaration to Man, to the Kings of the world!  And shall we falter now? And shall we start back appalled when our feet press the very threshold of Freedom?  Do I see quailing faces around me, when our wives have been butchered–when the hearthstones of our land are red with the blood of little children?

“What are these shrinking hearts and faltering voices here, when the very Dead of our battlefields arise, and call upon us to sign that Parchment, or be accursed forever?

“Sign! if the next moment the gibbet’s rope is round your neck!  Sign! if the next moment this hall rings with the echo of the falling axe!  Sign! By all your hopes in life or death, as husbands–as fathers–as men–sign your names to the Parchment or be accursed forever!

“Sign–and not only for yourselves, but for all ages. For that Parchment will be the Text-book of Freedom–the Bible of the Rights of Man forever!

“Sign–for that declaration will go forth to American hearts forever, and speak to those hearts like the voice of God!  And its work will not be done, until throughout this wide Continent not a single inch of ground owns the sway of a British King!

“Nay, do not start and whisper with surprise!  It is a truth, your own hearts witness it, God proclaims it.–This Continent is the property of a free people, and their property alone. [17-second applause] God, I say, proclaims it!

“Look at this strange history of a band of exiles and outcasts, suddenly transformed into a people–look at this wonderful Exodus of the oppressed of the Old World into the New, where they came, weak in arms but mighty in Godlike faith–nay, look at this history of your Bunker Hill–your Lexington–where a band of plain farmers mocked and trampled down the panoply of British arms, and then tell me, if you can, that God has not given America to the free?

      [12-second applause]

“It is not given to our poor human intellect to climb the skies, to pierce the councils of the Almighty One. But methinks I stand among the awful clouds which veil the brightness of Jehovah’s throne. Methinks I see the Recording Angel–pale as an angel is pale, weeping as an angel can weep–come trembling up to that Throne, and speak his dread message–

“‘Father!  the old world is baptized in blood!  Father, it is drenched with the blood of millions, butchered in war, in persecution, in slow and grinding oppression!  Father–look, with one glance of Thine Eternal eye, look over Europe, Asia, Africa, and behold evermore, that terrible sight, man trodden down beneath the oppressor’s feet–nations lost in blood–Murder and Superstition walking hand in hand over the graves of their victims, and not a single voice to whisper, “Hope to Man!”’

“He stands there, the Angel, his hands trembling with the black record of human guilt. But hark!  The voice of Jehovah speaks out from the awful cloud–‘Let there be light again. Let there be a New World. Tell my people–the poor–the trodden down millions, to go out from the Old World. Tell them to go out from wrong, oppression and blood–tell them to go out from this Old World–to build my altar in the New!’

[11-second applause]

“As God lives, my friends, I believe that to be his voice!  Yes, were my soul trembling on the wing for Eternity, were this hand freezing in death, were this voice choking with the last struggle, I would still, with the last impulse of that soul, with the last wave of that hand, with the last gasp of that voice, implore you to remember this truth–God has given America to the free!

[13-second applause]

O many years have gone since that hour–the Speaker, his brethren, all, have crumbled into dust, but it would require an angel's pen to picture the magic of that Speaker's look, the deep, terrible emphasis of his voice, the prophet-like beckoning of his hand, the magnetic flame which shooting from his eyes, soon fired every heart throughout the hall!

The work was done. A wild murmur thrills through the hall.–Sign? Hah? There is no doubt now. Look! How they rush forward–stout-hearted John Hancock has scarcely time to sign his bold name, before the pen is grasped by another–another and another! Look how the names blaze on the Parchment–Adams and Lee and Jefferson and Carroll, and now, Roger Sherman the Shoemaker.

And here comes good old Stephen Hopkins–yes, trembling with palsy, he totters forward–quivering from head to foot, with his shaking hands he seizes the pen, he scratches his patriot-name.

Then comes Benjamin Franklin the Printer....

And now the Parchment is signed; and now let word go forth to the People in the streets–to the homes of America–to the camp of Mister Washington, and the Palace of George the Idiot-King–let word go out to all the earth–

And, old man in the steeple, now bare your arm, and grasp the Iron Tongue, and let the bell speak out the great truth:

FIFTY-SIX TRADERS, LAWYERS, FARMERS AND MECHANICS HAVE THIS DAY SHOOK THE SCHACKLES OF THE WORLD!

[13-second applause]

Hark! Hark to the toll of that Bell!

Is there not a deep poetry in that sound, a poetry more sublime than Shakespeare or Milton?

Is there not a music in the sound, that reminds you of those awful tones which broke from angel-lips, when news of the child Jesus burst on the shepherds of Bethlehem?

For that Bell now speaks out to the world, that–

GOD HAS GIVEN THE AMERICAN CONTINENT TO THE FREE–THE TOILING MILLIONS OF THE HUMAN RACE–AS THE LAST ALTAR OF THE RIGHTS OF MAN ON THE GLOBE–THE HOME OF THE OPPRESSED, FOREVERMORE!

[10-second applause]
