Come join us for bringing in the New Year 2009 high in the Blue Ridge mountains of Virginia, as we contact the heart in the flame of Being.

A long time ago, the flame of Being was anchored in this valley. The surrounding mountains protected and nurtured the flame, waiting for the day that mankind would be ready to take up this flame and Be that which we are in God.

As we make ready to anchor our own flames in the valley and establish a place of physical Being -- and training for Being through a school -- we take the first step in gathering together high above the valley floor. Looking out across the valley from a place called Devils Knob, you can see Moses Mountain, White Mountain and Heard Mountain and Ennis Mountain, the epicenter of Being. You have the sense that a long time ago, someone named those mountains for the energies they felt from them.

But where you find great light, so too do you find darkness. And so across from this flame of Being is Devils Knob, as if a reminder that we are never far away from the challenges of darkness, no matter how great the light.

And so we gather to work on communicating from the heart. And one of the keys to that communication is being heard. Moses represents to us a spiritual being who heard the voice of God, and then in following that voice led God's people to the promised land. And the white light provided the way, and out of that light came the manna to feed the people.

And then there is the devil, the enemy of God that tempts people to sin and personifies the spirit of evil as Satan. But what really is the devil? Is it really a being or is it an energy, an evil, a deified evil, and a replacement for God Being?

What stops people from communicating from the heart and being heard? Can people be possessed by the devil - or evil - that at times they lash out at one another in anger and hate? And what happens to the people who are on the receiving end of this evil?

If there are obstacles to Being, surely the miscommunications that come out of our power center, our throat chakra and our God vision need to be addressed. And the peace in the heart and the ability to radiate that peace in our communications is so needed in the world today.

So as we gather together at Devils Knob and look across at Ennis, Moses, White and Heard Mountain, we can wonder at the cosmic moment that brought us together for such work. We will learn to be heard and we learn to hear. We will learn to listen and to communicate the heart's message, not that of the devil that tempts us to malign our brothers and sisters in the light.

This is the sign that we choose Life and Being, and that we welcome the Light of God Being through us. We joyfully gather together New Year's Eve through January 4th for the work of raising up of divine communication through us and in the collective consciousness. And we look forward to making this another memorable experience in the light and for the light.
