Victory in Being

July Fourth celebration 2007

July 12-15th, 2007

We are pleased to announce our next American conference will take place the second week in July in Westlake Village, Los Angeles County, California.

We are holding this Fourth of July Retreat the weekend after to allow more people to attend who would like to spend the holiday with their families, and to allow easier availability to airline flights. But also because we were guided to not focus so much on the birth of the nation this Fourth of July, but on the birth of our own Being.

Ultimately, what can best serve our nation of America, and wherever our home nation is, can happen through being the God Being that we are. In the Ascended Masters' Teachings, we have several shining examples of saints who served God and humankind in extraordinary ways.

Saint Patrick
Saint Patrick served his adopted country of Ireland, and directly challenged the forces of anti-Christ in his day. His flame continues to magnify throughout the country and be a beacon of light not only for the Irish people but for all of the Celtic people and throughout the world.

During his youth he was enslaved and was a herdsman, where he would pray sometimes over a hundred prayers throughout the day and into the night. Patrick would stand for many hours, even in the rain, persistently calling and commanding God's Powers for the benefit of the people he loved and wished to serve. His prayers were heard by the Cosmic Being, Mighty Victory, who conversed with Saint Patrick on what is called Croagh Patrick mountain, a large hill in Ireland which Patrick ascended from. He vowed he would not come down from that hill until he had been granted the dispensations of Mercy and Light which he had prayed for on behalf of his people.

Three different times, Mighty Victory told Patrick to return to the valley from whence he had come. However, Saint Patrick refused to do so - continuing to pray and implore the Godhead for certain spiritual assistance for the people of Ireland. Finally, it is said that Victory smiled upon him and told Patrick that he had passed his test of perseverance and constancy and God would grant his Mercy and Spiritual Benediction for his people as his reward.

Maha Chohan
Another example was the last life of the beloved Maha Chohan. In this final embodiment he was a shepherd on the hillsides of India, quietly keeping the flame for untold millions.

Master Lanello
Another shepherd boy who raised up the light for all to follow was one of the lives of Mark Prophet, Ascended Master Lanello. It took place in the Middle East a long time ago.

Lanello tells how he was tending his flocks when he was approached by some band of robbers who wanted him to show them a place to hide their stolen goods. Prompted from within to obey their command, he showed them a cave. The goods were many things of value such as gold, silks and jewels. The band left and soon encountered their rival band. Tales came back to him of the massacre of all of them, one against each another until none were left.

Time went on and the stolen good remained in the cave. Under the direction of the Spirit within the shepherd boy, he left the goods alone not knowing how to return them to their owners. Praying about it he felt a peace and heard, "Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord."

A year went by when one day he saw a caravan of merchants come by and recant of their tales of being robbed. And when they described the goods stolen, he recognized them as those in the cave. So to their astounded eyes, he showed them their items and they were so grateful they gave him one-third of the goods. Whereupon he told them he had no desire for this reward for his own, but would help his townspeople build a well and help the poor.

Since that day and time, all who have passed that way have also been kindled with love, with concern for their fellowman. And the events that have flowed from that beginning have turned the tide in many souls and in many hearts.

Master Igor
One more shining example of the quiet infilling of a soul with the heartfelt prayers for his fellow man. Ascended Master Igor held the balance for the Russian people during the Bolshevik Revolution as an unknown saint who saved the lives of untold millions.

The Ascended Master Igor said that as a child growing up in Russia he saw the people as “a vast evolution which seeks for liberty and yet creates bondage” and he prayed to God to help him understand this world “peopled with dark shapes and distortions.” He received many visitations from Archangel Gabriel, who brought him comfort and a promise, “I will guide thee throughout thy life and I will be to thee a friend....Thou shalt no longer be just as a peasant boy called Igor, but thou shalt be a son of the Most High God; for in thee God has generated a flame this day....Know, then, that God hath heard thy call.”

When Igor became aware of the coming destruction of the czar and his family and realized that the “red dragon” would march across Russia, he spent hours in prayer imploring God to somehow help and assist these people. And then one day “the beautiful Lady of Fátima” appeared to him and spoke of the terror of the red dragon. She said that only by a great struggle would mankind be able to turn back the oncoming darkness.

Igor implored the lady for her assistance and offered his life if it that would help save the people of Russia. But Mother Mary said that the people, by their misuse of free will, had wrought this destruction upon themselves as she unfolded the laws of karma to him.

She told him that they needed to seek the things of the Spirit as the way to help make the world free. As Igor recounts, “I accepted her love and her wisdom and my heart was comforted."

Mother Mary speaks of Igor as the "unknown son" who held the balance during the Revolution so that only one third of the deaths occurred that might have, if it had not been for his constant prayers.

Many of these saints were people who were uneducated and poor, simple people of this world with no clout and seemingly no means to make a difference. Yet they persevered against the odds, with determination and wil to be, and they did make a tremendous difference, becoming shining examples of light and God being. Truly they became one with their inner Being, their Christ selves and their God Presence.

We will explore, under the guidance of the Ascended Host, the means to step up to the victory in Being. Saint Germain will have more to say on the restoring of the Word in America. And Jesus will continue with his restoring the Word discourses.

We will also finish our last segment on the Blocks to Love series and look at the issue of "controlling love" as well as what is truly means to be "reborn" in the light of I AM. You can be what you want. You can receive what you need. You can be loved. You can be worthy of nurturance just as you are. All you need to do is step into the role of who you are. All you ever were meant to be will follow. It is your choice.

Accommodations

The conference will be held in the Westlake Village and we have arranged accommodations and transportation to a nearby motel. Vegetarian meals will be served for the four days. The conference fee includes room and board for four days and nights.

Bring your swimsuit for dips in the pool during meal breaks or for early morning swims before we begin each day.

California carries the flame of victory and freedom, and it will be a pleasure to invoke the Light together and anchor our individual Flames of Being there as well. We look forward to "being" with you and creating a platform for the Cosmic Beings to speak, as we work together in the "Victory in Being" on the outskirts of the City of Angels.
