The
Way to Spiritual Freedom

For evil to succeed, all that is needed
is for good men to do Nothing.
If you knew the way to your spiritual freedom, followed the Way and
then obtained it, would that be your end goal? Would you be satisfied
to make your ascension and be on your way? Or would you become a Bodhisattva,
vowing to stay with the evolutions of incarnating sons and daughters
of God until they also found the Way and obtained their victory?
For many who have been on the spiritual path all their lives, they have
obtained a good measure of Christhood, Buddhahood and might be questioning,
"what is next?" If you look ahead and the possibility that you could be
on this planet for another ten, twenty, thirty years, is the ascension
your end goal? What if you obtained the requirements for your ascension
this year, with 51-100 percent of your karma balanced, balanced your
threefold flame, fulfilled your dharma or spiritual calling, and spun
your wedding garment out of the white light you have garnered around
your four lower bodies?
Greatest
Gift to God
Would you consider that the greatest gift we have to give back to God
for our life and opportunity on earth, is to be that vehicle, that instrument
for God to use while on earth?
For many of us, the ascension was the goal. We have been striving to
balance at least 51 percent of our karma so as to be guaranteed our ascension (if
we fulfilled the other requirements). And thereby at the close of life, we may choose to take our ascension, instead of returning with the possibility of falling back into that place of less than 51 percent balanced. For some, the goal was
to go on for the physical ascension with the balancing of the minimum
of 95 percent and raise their physical bodies into the Light of Victory.
In 1996-97, El Morya announced candidates for the ascension from Maitreya's
Mystery School. At that time, many candidates he announced had already
balanced 60-70 percent of their karma. Many more were over 51 percent.
We know we can always slip backwards, and must be on guard that we don't
find ourselves in karma-making situations, but for the most part, many
of these souls were and are stalwart souls of light. But where are these people today and what are they doing with the progress they have made?
Darkest
Hour before Dawn
There is much need on the planet today for change. The hour right before
dawn is here, the hour of the greatest darkness. In the Hindu tradition it is believed we are in the Age of Darkness called the Kali Yuga. This is said to be the fourth and last age lasting 432,000 human years and also known as the Iron Age.
It is not hard to see that when the moral standards
of America have fallen to the state of questioning whether marriage
is between a man and a woman, and when same sex individuals are shown
kissing in the media, on television and magazine covers, we know the standards
have fallen to a new low. Abortion continues unabated, with even some nations
systematically killing their female offspring. Wars and rumors of wars
continue, with weapons of mass destruction finding their way into rogue
countries and endangering the entire planet.
Children are popping up on the computer screen, as well as women and
men in all manner of sexual acts, unsolicited, unwelcome, and often unable
to be stopped from appearing across your computer screen. God forbid
you get on a pornography host mailing list. Your name will be sold to
every offender of the sanctity of the holiness of the sexual union.
And the words and pictures that can come across your email is shocking
for the proliferation of this industry.
Children are seen murdering and slaying the villains on their computer
screens while playing computer games, which for some is the main activity for hours every day.
Some are carrying their activities into real life and murdering their
classmates for simple offenses of just being themselves. And all children,
male or female, are vulnerable to the assault against their being children.
Their lives are constantly in danger from sexual predators who stalk
online, at parks and malls, even while walking home from school.
The point being that the atrocities that have come out against the sanctity
of life, the beauty of the Holy Family and the union of man and woman,
the right to life for the unborn as well as the elderly, have all been
eroded so that you would think that life could get no lower. But every
day it seems to do just that, and we see today conditions that have
not been seen on this planet since the fall of Atlantis.
While mass communication has been a blessing, with knowledge traveling
the world in a matter of seconds, we have also the burden of the misuse
of this blessing. As fast as the Word of God, the prayer vigils, the
truth and illumination can spread, the dark forces have used it to spread
and corrupt our very children with the desecration of women, and the
luring of children into things their eyes should never behold.
What hope do we have for turning the planet around? What is our goal
besides the ascension? What do we have to do to protect our freedoms,
individually and collectively? Where do we start?
The
Spiritual Freedom to Be
We start with ourselves. The Path is not about balancing our karma,
though at times we get focused on just that. Balancing your karma is
a result of your Being God in action, being the flame that you are,
while putting off the pseudo self that you are not. So in all reality,
we should be focused on God, God and God. God in ourselves, God in each
other, God in Heaven and bringing God in the Earth.
What we are seeking is the spiritual freedom to Be. And when we have
garnered enough of some spiritual freedoms in our lives, we look for
how we can expand those same freedoms around us, ever expanding outward,
so that all life has the same opportunity we have had.
So over the years I have changed my perspective from the "ascension"
as my goal, to helping everyone gain spiritual freedom. This goes beyond
my dharma, but is an aspect of my Being. I cannot help but Be the flame
that I am, which is freedom, but it is more, it is peace.
So you will not see me endorsing war to gain freedoms, or war to gain
peace. My being, my inner expression of the flame that I am comes out
as a warrior for peace. I am a fighter, yet I do not believe in war.
Let me elaborate.
Jesus has said he came not to bring peace, but a sword. We have been
told by the Masters that our swords are the Word invoked in our dynamic decrees and through the Word. We
have seen how some have stood up against the oppressors, the power elite
who sit in their thrones demanding obedience and set their laws to control
the people.
Warriors
of Peace
Mahatma Ghandi's life was the example of a soul who believed in helping
people gain their spiritual freedom to Be. He was willing to lose his
life for that cause. Many joined him and because they amassed together
in one spirit and soul, they won their victory from their oppressor and became an independent nation from British rule,
granting them their liberty.
Martin Luther King sought to gain freedom for the oppressed people of
his race. One morning in 1956, during a troubled night where he had
no peace, he said all rationality left him, and then, almost out of
nowhere, he heard a voice saying to him, "Preach the Gospel, stand
up for the truth, stand up for righteousness." And from that moment
on, he left his fears behind. He traveled and preached and witnessed
to the injustices he saw.
In his 1964 Nobel Peace Prize address, he questioned why this award
was given to him. They had no peace, they had no victories but he concluded
the award was for the organization he headed, for their non-violent
approach to peace. He said:
"Nonviolence
is the answer to the crucial political and moral questions of our
time: the need for man to overcome oppression and violence without
resorting to violence and oppression.
Civilization and violence are antithetical concepts. Negroes of the
United States, following the people of India, have demonstrated that
nonviolence is not sterile passivity, but a powerful moral force which
makes for social transformation. Sooner or later, all the peoples
of the world will have to discover a way to live together in peace,
and thereby transform this pending cosmic elegy into a creative psalm
of brotherhood. It this is to be achieved, man must evolve for all
human conflict a method which rejects revenge, aggression, and retaliation.
The foundation of such a method is love."
Jesus was willing to lose his life to stand up against the oppressors
of the people in his time. He also was willing to stand up against the
power elite and their demanding obedience to their interpretations of
the Old Testament Laws and the outer path versus the Inner Law and Path.
In these few examples of noble Beings, they were fearless in their causes
to bring truth and illumination against the oppressors of the people,
the power elite, those who sought nothing but power and control. We
can label these power hungry people as fallen ones, it matters not their name. By
their fruits you shall know them. Jesus was the more direct out of these
three examples, in confronting these oppressors, but they all did in
their own way. What did they do that we can emulate?
They all had victories, but sometimes not in their own time, but following
their deaths. All of them eventually lost their lives by unnatural causes.
We could wish that those fearless examples of righteousness and all
like them in the history of this planet, had not lost their lives to
witness to the truth or to bring about spiritual freedoms. But the fact
is that it has happened more frequently than not. But what we can learn
from their examples is that they loved not their lives, but freedom
and truth more than any one human life, including their own.
Attributes
of Freedom Fighters
These examples of stalwart men, had a few things in common:
- They believed
in God
- They were
practitioners of their faith in God
- They were
righteous men
They
upheld the laws of their land
- They spoke
truths as they saw and knew them from within their hearts
- They were
fearless
- All were
imprisoned, Ghandi spending the most time imprisoned for his actions.
So, in essence
they had to be willing to sacrifice their own freedoms, in order to
obtain freedom for others. They loved God, honored and loved their brethren,
were willing to sacrifice their time and lives for the cause of freedom,
and willing to work within the laws of the land, whether they were of
righteous laws or not.
How can we emulate these examples of these righteous men and women who
have changed the course of history to allow some nations to be based
on the freedom to Be? Where in our personal lives can we sacrifice for
the cause of freedom? Only you can answer that. But each one of us can
look around our personal lives and communities and see places where
the freedom of liberty is being eroded, and where the rights of innocent
children are being destroyed. Innocence is a misnomer in the United
States today. There are very few places where a child can remain a child
without having put in front of their eyes and into their ears the things
that take away this innocence. But is this right?
The
Way to Spiritual Freedom
There is no one way to fight for freedom and to keep your freedom. But
there is one Way and that is the I AM Way. Through the God self, the
I AM that you are, is the way for you to Be. If you are wondering how
you can regain those lost freedoms in your nations or in your church,
you only need to look to do and be one thing: I AM. From that place,
of I AM, will be all the keys, all the tools, all the ways to deliver
this planet and her people back to the golden ge standards of the Christ.
And if some won't change and you feel helpless? If you feel the forces
of darkness are too great, too overwhelming, and you are so small, think
again. Nothing is too much for God, not even physical death, as Jesus
proved. And sometimes in death is the greatest victory for the liberty
and freedom for those you were fighting for. I am not advocating you
look to die, on the contrary, we look to live and live in the fullest
of God I AM, and that we stay around on this planet for as long as we
possibly can. At the same time, it has been a requirement of the law
since Godfrey took his ascension in 1939, that one soul ascend from
planet earth each year. So we just surrender to God's will and his timetable
for our ascensions, and always strive for the fullness of I AM, and
let go and let God through us. And then the much needed changes will
start occurring.
And to facilitate being the fullness of who we are:
- we practice
our religious beliefs;
- we pray
and pray without ceasing;
- we invoke
the Lord's judgment on that which we witness as unjust
- we determine
to Be who we are, positive and loving at all times and to everyone
and for everything
- when we
are moved to act by the Spirit, we move, whether it be just saying
a prayer or in organizing a prayer vigil or giving a novena
- or whether
we are moved by the Spirit to speak out and witness to the truth through
writing a letter or addressing a crowd or even just one person.
God is the
decree, the prayer, the prayer giver and the action of the Word and
the answer to the prayer. We just need to let go and let God.
- Strive
for peace, but realize that peace is not passive resistance, but much
more.
- There
is no peace where there is no love. Be love in action and consume
all anti-love, all darkness through the love that you manifest and
you are.
-
Where
you see darkness, consume it with the Light of God. Maintain the
light in that place through your vision, through your love, through
your will.
The time is short. God could wipe out all evil on this planet in the
twinkling of an eye, but He won't. And why not? Because it serves no
purpose. But there will come a time and a day where the evil will accelerate
so fast and furious and so much, that it will collapse the platform
that sustains it. And in the process many souls and much good and progress
in the light will be lost.
There can
be a better way than allowing evil to self-destruct. It is far better
that souls are supported in Being, even though they are manifesting
the poisons of ignorance. Some will go on to have opportunities again,
and some will permanently lose their opportunities to Be.
Our role
is to be the servants of light and illumination. We know what it means
to Be who we are. For the most part, we know who we are. Now let us
direct our will and light to helping others gain their victory to Be
and know who they are in God.
