What Is Being and "more"?

Part I

It all started back in November 2002. Kim and I had gone to the bookstore, our favorite place to go for an evening out, reading and listening to music. Upon returning in the evening, the Great Divine Director asked if we would sit down with him and be tutored on God. This continued for three evenings in a row. What came of this was a totally new concept of what "Being" God in embodiment meant. To say we "got it" in that first, second or third evening would be a fallacy. Although I typed up the notes we took and studied the teachings, the concepts were beyond our understanding at that time.

The months followed and I shared these teachings with anyone who had an ear to hear about God. I don't think anyone I sent them to ever responded back. And I don't believe some of the people I sent the notes to even read them. I could find no one to talk this concept through with. Although Kim and I spent time talking a few times, I was personally being pushed day after day to BE. The Brotherhood would not let me still.

One dear soul I met through the internet corresponded with me almost daily for many months. We shared this concept and many other testings we both had been through. We shared the teachings and testings we experienced as we went around the cosmic clock* with Lord Maitreya.

At times she would just tell me, "I don't know what being is to describe it, all I know is you just be!" It sounded so easy. I am sure she was being and she had arrived at the state of being over the years and through personal trials and didn't give it a thought as to what she was doing. But God had other plans for me. He wanted me not only to understand and be, but to be able to share how I arrived at this state and "be more"! So the "more" concept was conceived over one of those nights with the Great Divine Director. To me, that concept was the most beautiful of all the teachings on Being. I share with you the description of what more is from the Great Divine Director:

"LOVE is a creation of God. It came about because God wanted to do something for Himself. So he designed a manifestation of self that would grow in stature due to the magnification of itself.

So he designed a pattern that looks like Himself—but not—and endowed it with Power. He then said to the Power: 'BE ALL THAT YOU ARE, but MORE' .

And the more is love.

Then he blew upon it and said: 'GO BE!' "

The Great Divine Direction then expounded upon that:

"You are the creator of "GO BE". The reason is that there is no creator for "GO BE" that is separate from any other. There is only "Being". Therefore, if you want to "Be love", you can't. There is only Being in the sense that you are.

Therefore, "Being love" is a fallacy.
There is no love where there is "Being".

"Being" is a fallacy that you are.
"Being" is a nomenclature, meaning it has no part of the whole without love.
So therefore "Being" is a fallacy that you are.

The purpose of this [discussion] is to break down the fallacy in your mind of what love is.

It is not a creation of mind, nor of heart.
It is not a thing that you can fit into a mold or mold into a thing.
It is not any "thing".
It is "Being" who you are.
So you see, you ARE God when you be who you ARE.

It was like Greek to us. What is he saying? Was he talking in riddles? It certainly had the ability to confound us and break down our prior concepts on what love is. But what was this "being" he kept talking about? How can you know who you are in God?

Can we see that what he could be saying is that our minds (the lower ego mind or carnal mind) gets in the way of our being? And that we can't "be love" or just "be" if we are truly not "being who we are"? What are we then?

  • Well, we are NOT who we are when we are thinking "what should we be?"

  • We are NOT who we are when we try to "be love".

  • And we are NOT necessarily "loving" when we are just "being".

So we are beginning to understand that there is "being" and there is "being who you are" and there is a difference. One can say they are "just being" and do all manner of harmful things to another. Is that love? Of course not. But there are those sincere individuals who are trying to "be love" and the first step is to "be who you are" even if that being is not entirely loving. They are trying to find who they are and must start with that first step to "dare to be".

The Great Divine Director then said:

Love is not a creation of mind, nor of heart.
It is not a thing that you can fit into a mold or mold into a thing.
It is not any thing.
It is BEING who you ARE.
So you see, you ARE God when you BE who you ARE! If you could create love, would you create it as power in action? Or would you endow it with Spirit and set it free to BE?

There is more to Being that God intended. Therefore, Being is Love endowed with Spirit and set free to Be more than it IS.

God is MORE than LOVE.

So Kim and I tried to "be" who we were. This sounds simple. We had been being who we were all our life, hadn't we? But if you think about what you have been because others said that you were, or others told you you were, was that "being"? If your parents or other authority figures told you how stupid you were when you made a mistake, or your impression of yourself was that you were a failure because you couldn't do something someone else could do well, or you went to church and the minister told you you were a sinner, what were you then?

Were you "being" who you are? Could you be who you really are? How can you if you don't know who you are? In other words, if everything you thought about yourself came from outside of yourself, then how do you know who you are from the inside out? When has it been the norm for any religion or teacher to tell you that they supported you in being who you are by letting you experiment in the world of form and make mistakes, even if it was possibly hurting others?

If you wanted to start your career over at age 35, while in the middle of raising a family, and you decided you needed to return to school and invest time and money in an interest you feel was really manifesting who you are, would you receive objections from co-workers, family and friends? How many would say, "Go ahead and do what you love, the money will follow," and encourage you to drop a good paying job, spend countless hours away from your family pursuing some selfish pursuit?

Think back on your life and think of how many things were told to you or about you that you find today was not you at all but that others believed about you? How many friends and family still believe things about you that you do not feel is true about yourself? How many of you are doing what you love? How many of you are not afraid to stand up and be who you are no matter what the opposition?

Sometimes in the brazenness of youth, we are able to be regardless of the opposition because that is a part of what teenhood is about — finding your inner being. If we can build upon that will to be and breaking away from the "you shoulds" that have prevailed upon us, we can start our way to returning to being who we are.

Other times, we are our own worse enemy. The enemy is the ego creation within that rules our minds and hearts and does not need others to tell us what we should and shouldn't do, but does a great job of doing it to any potential being within us. It is the part of us that stomps down our will to be, giving us the mental thoughts of why it would be too dangerous, foolhardy and all manner of human reasoning to stop us.

For if you dared to be who you are, would not that remind parts of yourself of the past times and ages that you did that very thing and you lost your life for it? Or you were persecuted unmercifully because you dared to express your God-given talents? Or a person of authority you respected and loved told you that you were wrong in what you were doing, even though you believed in your heart that it was what you are and need to do and be?

What else keeps you from "being"? Could your thoughts of fear, doubt, resentment or judgment or any of the other countless human foibles keep you from being the unique flame you were before coming into embodiment? Is not all those foibles really the outer garments that the soul must break through to finally see the God Self that was in her all along? Would she not have to undo a choice she made long ago when she first chose to separate herself out from God and chose to rely on the carnal mind and human self as her god?

To rely on the not-self instead of God has been the cause of all sin on earth. For if we dared to rely on the Real Self, in the process of reliance we would be "being". And in "being" there is no sin, for when you "be" who you are in God, you are being the unique flame that God created you from the beginning. When you let go of the not-self and start being the Real Self of who you are, unique in God, you can then be not only the flame of being unique to you, but the more.

Mother Mary gave us some Rosaries to Being that we can use to help us in "being who you are". They are wonderful affirmations in it to being Father, Mother and more. All are short and easy to do before bed or just upon awakening as a wonderful way to start the day.

There is more! In What is Being and more Part II, the Great Divine Director gives us more insight into God, being and more.

*Mother Mary released the teachings on the Cosmic Clock through the Summit Lighthouse. She gave us the understanding that there were twelve major Rays and qualities of those Rays that corresponded to the twelve signs of the Zodiac. As you travel from the 12 o'clock line of God power, each subsequent ray is an individualization of the one God Flame of Being. The frequencies are becoming more articulate and defined.
