Who and What is Real?

Removing the Mask -
Are those behind the mask harboring darkness?

I was inspired to share this story with you. I wrote this two summers ago, but I would like to share this story again. We read about the BKU killer and so many people of the Light question, "How could this man be evil or do evil things?" Here is an excerpt from a recent news article:

Feb 28 2005
Dennis Rader Arrested in Wichita
The man arrested for the BTK serial murders evaded detection for more than three decades by "hiding in plain sight" in his community -- as a city employee, a cub scout leader, and an active member of his church.

Dennis Rader, 59, who was arrested last week in connection with the investigation into the BTK serial killer murders, was employed as a compliance officer for animal control by nearby Park City, Kansas. Reports said he was a former cub scout leader and a leader in his local church.

In fact, Rader was listed as the president of the Christ Lutheran Church congregation, affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA), according to the church's web site, before the site was removed from the Internet over the weekend.

We notice this man was part of the Evangelical movement that Mother Mary has spoken of her in dictation yesterday. Several other people have questioned,"How can these people claiming to be new Messengers for the Ascended Masters be false? They are such nice people!" Read on and then see what lesson God was trying to teach us. For the reality of "nice people" has nothing to do with the hidden darkness that can be inside. We are taught, again and again, from Jesus and other masters, that we must seek our discernment from within. We must get our own reading from and through the Christ, and we must not discern through personalities, how much money someone has or how much good standing one has in the community. We must allow God through us, to give us the inner discernment of seeing through the outer shell of a mask.

I was writing a friend on the email when I was describing another one of my recent Holy Spirit adventures, when I realized there was more to the story than met the eye. The first chapter in "The Lost Teachings of Jesus" Volume I from the Summit Lighthouse, is entitled "Removing the Mask." In the process of becoming who we are, one of the first things we need to do is realize who we are not, and Mark Prophet does a very good job of helping us remove our own masks.

But what about the masks that others have on? How many of us are fooled by the many masks of those around us? Who is real? What I mean by that is, who is real in God, their real self and how can we tell?

My Story
Several students of the Masters would get together with me regularly to do some spiritual work. During the daily meeting we were directed to go northward through New York and maybe into Canada to "find something." Just one of those Holy Spirit trips that you aren't quite sure why, but you know it will be a nice trip. So the next day, we piled into the car and planned on an overnight trip. We thought Canada was the end goal and headed northward for several hours, and were not too far from the border when the Maha Chohan said, "turn here!"

We got off the expressway and continued down a road, and he said once again, "turn here." A few more of these "turn heres" and we came upon a most beautiful lake. As we continued around the lake, the Maha Chohan again spoke to me and said, "Stop here for the afternoon!" This was not beyond our imagination, as the lake was breathtaking, the birds were chirping, the sun was shining through the clouds and the water looked great for swimming. The girls hadn't prepared for swimming, but it was so tempting, they jumped in as they were and were having a wonderful time when this man came and told us to leave his property. He had a resort and cabins along the lake. We hadn't noticed any "no trespassing" signs, and hadn't realized this section of the lake was part of the resort.

So we headed further up the lake to dry off and stopped at the side of the road. Again, someone came down from a hilltop home across the road from the lake and inquired what we were doing there and so we had to leave again. By then we were looking around us questioning where was this negative energy coming from that affected these people around this beautiful lake. So we drove around the lake—it was quite big—and found that the other side had a girls camp and vibrated a bit better.

So we stopped and had lunch at a boat ramp where we knew we wouldn't be chased away and found that our subject of conversation turned to people. First we talked about an individual, whom we all knew personally, and who over the years rejected the light, the Summit messenger and had duped all of us into thinking she was a person to be trusted and of high moral character. She turned out to have many hidden agendas that came to the light over the course of time.

Then I told the story of this man who worked at my place of business. He was my immediate boss, and we often worked together alone, after hours, completing tasks that needed to get done. I liked this man, and he seemed kind, considerate and trustworthy. A year into this work relationship, I arrived at work one day and he was gone, every sign of him. Well, it comes to light that several women in the business had gotten together and filed a sexual harassment complaint against him. He did not even stay around and try to defend himself, a sure sign of guilt (or extreme fear)!

That night I had a dream. I had been very upset with this situation, but I couldn't put my finger on it. How could this man have molested these women? I knew them. They were, for the most part, very quiet unassuming women. They were trustworthy. I had to believe them. I talked with most of them personally and their stories were compelling. This really happened. But why did he not approach me? I was married, and these other women weren't, for one, but could a person hide this part of themselves that well that I didn't notice it at all? I am usually a very perceptive individual, or so I thought.

So I have this dream that I relate to this man. I see him in a house and he enters his closet. There he has a drawer full of bottles. Each bottle is a different color, and he takes these paints and he paints on a different face, depending on who he is with. Upon awakening, I immediately flash to Mark's words in "Removing the Mask." This is how masks work! We put them on, we take one off and we put on another. It is really quite easy! You can be anyone you want and hide the real you behind these masks.

So now we are sitting by this lake after 20 minutes of talking about these people and not feeling very happy, questioning why are we are on talking about these dark subjects? How did we got on the subject of these people who were not what they seemed?

Amazingly, we shortly found out. As we looked out upon the lake we noticed that these dark clouds were rolling in. Off to our left we see a dark storm cloud rolling toward us and the lake. We see a few people start scurrying off the lake and back to the dock to escape the lightning. But as we are watching, another dark cloud from the right of us approaches us and heads over the lake. It was a strange phenomenon, two separate dark clouds converging over the lake, moving in opposite directions and towards it other! Clouds don't move that way! And then this once beautiful lake appears to become very dark and sinster right before our eyes.

The Realization - The Darkness beneath the surface
I begin to question the Brotherhood as to what was going on with this lake, as we sensed that we were meant to understand something, after all, the Holy Spirit led us directly to this lake and our visit didn't turn out as we expected. And we wondered why did we start talking about these people? And why were the people around the lake so unkind? Then the picture appeared before our eyes, this place was not what it appeared to be! And within a few moments we put the pieces of the puzzle together and realized that this lake was actually what the Masters have identified as an astral pit! These are places around the planet, generally connected with water, where there are openings into the astral realm. And you know no good comes out of the pits! And we so we received direction to go around the lake and seal it with violet flame and cut free the elementals, which we promptly did.

After this work the afternoon was nearly gone and we decided not to go on to Canada, and we were directed through the Holy Spirit that we could go home. But we were not ready; we were almost to the border of Canada and why not keep going? So we were divided in our wants. Everyone else was "on to Canada" but me. I felt the Brotherhood wanted us to return or why say we could go home now? I am more the "get back to work" person and here we had these young people with us ready for an adventure. But as it sometimes occurs when working with the Holy Spirit, that if you look a little closer you can find a gem of a treat. And so was our futher adventures going to yield us some gems!

So we compromised and agreed to not go on to Canada, but turn west and head into the Adirondack mountains as a scenic route home. We noticed that there were caves and a diamond mine not too far into the Adirondacks and maybe we could stop there and check them out.

I have traveled most every mountain range in the United States. But I have to say that these mountains are among the most scenic I have ever seen. The beauty and peace and greenery was beyond our expectations. There were forests, and green meadows, fields of wild flowers and lakes galore.

So we found a nice town and a place to sleep and enjoyed our evening discussing the course of the day. The next day we did find the mine, which was called the Herkimer Diamond mines. They are not real diamonds, but quartz crystals with unique properties and natural diamond like cuts to the gems. We had received confirmation that we were to stop there and "find something," which was the original direction I had received before we left. Now this sounded interesting, you could spend the day cracking open rocks and hoping to find these Herimer diamonds inside! These gemstones are believed to be close to five hundred million years old and are found in nature with even the double points formed naturally, one on each end much like a cut diamond. So we were excited about finding one of these gems on our own.

So we bought tickets for everyone and spent the afternoon breaking open rocks. I immediately found a small crystal in the first rock I hammer open and enthusiastically look for more. I wandered off alone and found myself attracted to an area where I feel a lot of light. The Divine Mother kept urging me on to look in that one area. To tell a "diamond in the rough" rock is not an easy task. I was beginning to get a blister on my hand, this was hard work! But finally I pick up this rock and I don't even have to crack it open. You can see clearly that it has a very small vein of crystal diamonds running the length of the rock and inside it. But to crack it open to find more would destroy these tiny crystals and the beauty that was inside. I knew I had found it. I sat there with this light charging my being and I put the treasure in my pocket.

By then, we were baking from the heat and the girls had come to find me to tell me of this beautiful stream behind the mine they had found. I was ready for a break and another adventure and the girls were tired of pounding rocks, which didn't yield them any crystals.

This small stream was a series of cascading waterfalls that just went on and on. We walked barefoot up it for a long distance and it was a most holy experience. There were pitfalls along the way and it reminded us of the path of initiation and the many trials and tests along the way of life. We were heading upstream and we had to be very careful of the power in some areas with deep holes and slippery rocks. But like the path of life, you just keep going slowly but surely and you eventually arrive at the summit at the top and felt the victory of our climb. And thus we ended the day with this experience and then returned to our respected homes.

It was not until a week later that it occurred to me what was the real reason we were directed to go on this trip. In the week that followed the trip, every day during our hourly meeting and during my decree sessions, I was shown or told some new revelation of the false hierarchy. This trip had been preparation for the release into our outer awareness of the darkness behind the beauty and the hidden beauty behind the rough stones and rocky mounds of ground.

On the one hand, we had thought the lake was the most peaceful, friendly place until we experienced the darkness hidden in the people around the lake and that the lake itself, was harboring a hidden darkness. On the other hand, we find the most beautiful crystals and work of nature hidden in plain rocks. They looked like ordinary rocks, nothing pretty, and except for a small wormhole that is a signal that the elementals have created a facet of diamond within, you would never know that gems were hidden inside.

But the enlightenment we all received was that many things of outside beauty harbor hidden darkness within. This applies to people mostly, but anywhere in the earth body, places of nature, as well as man-made things. This knowledge affected us deeply and was a profound lesson. Since then, I have been shown other people who profess to be doing something of the light and they are not, and I have been taken, while inside my heart during meditations, to see the hidden motives and agendas of the dark forces.

We want to believe what we see, and if something is beautiful we want to think that it truly is inside. But alas, such is not the case in the world of form. Sometimes the beauty is only skin deep, as they say. The dark ones and those who do dark things, have to hide themselves in the forms of beauty or the children of the Light and the sons and daughters of God wouldn't be duped!

I am very grateful for this experience and understanding. What we knew in our hearts and minds wasn't translating into enlightened action. I was reminded of the many people who had fooled me in the past. By the grace of God, we had learned a valuable lesson that would remain with us for all our days. The Ascended Masters have a saying that they remind us again and again, and that is trust no man, but the Christ within. If we can't see within someone's heart, we can place our trust in our own Christ wisdom to help us recognize beyond our physical eyes what they cannot see. And we can put our faith and trust in the Christ and recognize when there truly is not the light in another, but harboring the darkness within.
