Question: Why does Lorraine seem so racist? I don't know if you have caught onto it, but her writings on New Orleans may contain some racist remarks.

A question from a reader of this discourse.

Hurricane Hits the Gulf Coast

The Cause of returning Karma

by Lorraine Michaels

August 30, 2005

On Monday, August 29th, Hurricane Katrina struck the Gulf coast of Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama. This storm developed quickly after striking Miami, Florida, and then crossing into the Gulf of Mexico, looking like it would peter out or cross over to Mexico. But the karma of the nation, and the karma of Louisiana and Mississippi brought this storm to our doorstep with a power of the most High judgment. The loss of lives is untold, as many are yet to be rescued from rooftops and rescue efforts is hampered by severe flooding. The storm is continuing up the Mississippi and Ohio Valley bringing continuing flooding and wind damage.

The situation in New Orleans is dire. Hundreds of thousands of people are trapped in the city, as the flood has started to inundate the entire city, a day after the hurricane went through, as levees failed. New Orleans is below sea level and has been free of water only because of a system of levees that were built in the 1800’s.

At this hour, the water is rising and besides the fact of the hampering to get people in and out of the city, water is cut off for drinking. Electricity is forecast to not be restored for at least two months. Some areas of coastal Louisiana are gone, claimed by the Mississippi River. Hundreds of thousands of people are homeless. People have nowhere to go and no help, food or water and many no direction.

Before reading further, I would like to ask you to stop and give a prayer for help for the victims of this massive hurricane and for the protection of lives who are still in danger. I have written a prayer from last years’ hurricane's catastrophies, and you may wish to give this prayer, substituting the current information for last year’s hurricane and affected areas, along with giving Mother Mary’s Golden Age Rosary as recommended by Saint Germain in his recent discourse.

Flooding and Hurricanes
Last year, 2004, we had an unprecedented arrival of four hurricanes to strike the Florida peninsula. It was the first time since record-keeping began in 1851 that four hurricanes impacted Florida in a single year. The Insurance Information Institute estimated that one in every five Florida homes was impacted by a hurricane that year, with property damages over the state totaling $22 billion dollars.

In an article I wrote in September, 2003, “Warning of Flooding, The Judgment Will Come” I said:

“We see that God's judgment cannot be stopped. Although the prayers of the Godly can and do mitigate the returning judgment, the storms keep coming and so swiftly that there is no warning to prepare or pray. I have also stated in my article "God's Judgment" the visions of floods that were shown to me in the last month."

Many areas across the planet are experiencing unprecedented flooding, not just the United States. A list of some of the worst, with many records set are seen below:

  • Japan set a record last year for typhoons, with one of its most deadliest typhoons in more than two decades, that killed at least 80 people and left 23,000 homeless

  • Both Romania and Bulgaria have suffered a series of floods throughout the spring and summer of 2005. The most recent floods, like the others, were triggered by days of torrential rain.

  • In July of this year, India’s monsoon period, they received 37 inches of rain in a 24-hour period, the most rain ever recorded in one day in India. Nine hundred people lost their lives from this rain. In June severe storms starting causing flooding over much of northern Afghanistan. More than twenty years of war have left Afghanistan prone to floods. The irrigation and reservoir infrastructures that might otherwise control flood water have been destroyed, leaving the country vulnerable when storms or melting snow tax the river systems.

  • In the spring of 2005, the Northeast U.S. area, including New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania received a weekend of drenching rains that caused the Delaware River to overflow causing thousands of residents to be evacuated, with some homes inundated to almost the rooftops. Hurricane Ivan caused the Ohio River to flood last year, and in January the same area was flooded again with seven feet above flood levels from heavy rains. Major rivers, including the Ohio, Susquehanna, and Delaware Rivers, pushed over their banks and forced evacuations during Ivan’s torrential rains.

  • In February of this year, Southern California received it wettest year in more than a century, collapsing hillsides and crushing homes. Los Angeles recorded 34 inches in eight months, more than the annual average for Seattle. It was their third wettest year on record almost being the second wettest but for a few tenths of an inch.

  • In January Los Angeles had recorded its wettest 15 consecutive days on record, with a total of 17 inches of rain falling.

  • In January of this year, hurricane-force winds caused chaos throughout large parts of Scotland, bringing destruction across the country, as the storm swept in from the Atlantic. Wind speeds of 124mph were recorded.

  • And, of course, the December 26th, 2004 tsunami inundated lands in eleven countries and causing the death of over 220,000 people.
In November 2004 Asia recorded its most violent weather ever and the latest typhoon to strike Japan has generated the highest waves ever recorded in that country, killing eighty people. It was stated that the rash of earthquakes that accompanied the typhoons was believed to be due, at least in part, to the fact that the entire country is literally waterlogged, and wetness is causing instability in many faults, some of them that had been inactive for thousands of years.

  • In October 2004 jagged hailstones larger than cricket balls, flash flooding, and lightning strikes wreaked havoc in the second major storm to hit Sydney, Australia, within days.

  • In July of 2004, Severe winter storms drenched New Zealand’s North Island with heavy rain, producing floods and landslides. In the Philippines the worst flooding to hit the northern Philippines in three decades killed 43 people and caused more than $20 million in damage.

  • In May of 2004 both Haiti and the Dominican Republic, the two countries on the island of Hispaniola, have been ravaged by severe flooding after several days of heavy rain. Hundreds have perished in the two countries as a direct result of mud slides and flash flooding. Then again, Hurricane Jeanne tore across Haiti with disastrous flooding causing thousands of deaths in the following September.

  • In April 2004, over half a million people were evacuated from northern Bangladesh after a series of destructive hot-season storms triggered wide-spread flooding.

  • In December 2003, almost constant rain fell over Southern France since early October. Then, torrential rains began on December 1, 2003, pushing the Rhone River to its highest ever recorded volume, causing mass flooding.

The flooding across this planet has been record-breaking for over two years. The devastating storms are increasing, and they are sudden and sometimes very unexpected. Louisiana was not expecting Katrina. Her unexpected path change and rapid increase to top hurricane storm intensity of a five, with wind speeds up to 185 mph, left little time for storm preparations. Typically, these severe hurricanes are developed from the Cape Verde islands off the African coast, such as hurricane Andrew in 1992, which was the second most destructive hurricane ever to hit the United States; and Ivan in 2004 which destroyed 80-85% of structures on Grand Cayman island and Grenada. But Katrina spawned off of the warm waters in the Bahamas and was not anticipated to develop so large and so fast.

In my September 2004 article on the Power of Prayer I showed the path of 1965 Betsy, the last devastating memorable storm to hit the New Orleans area. Betsy drove a storm surge into Lake Pontchartrain which is connected to the Gulf of Mexico, pushing water over levees around the lake. Flood water reached the eves of houses in some places in the city.

Betsy prompted Congress to authorize a ring of levees 16 feet high around the city–a project that left the question whether that level of protection would be sufficient to protect the city. For forty years, New Orleans has not been severely damaged from any flooding or hurricanes—until hurricane Katrina.

What is the Energy Feeding these Storms
To understand why some areas are prone to flooding and damaging storms and others are not, you must look at what causes storms. What is the energy feeding the storms? It is mankind’s misuse of God’s energy, which burdens the emotional body and etheric body of the planet and the elemental kingdom. The elementals are burdened by hatred, anger, greed, selfishness leading to harm to other parts of life, misuse of God power in criticism and condemnation, and the misuse of knowledge and information to control people. They must alleviate these energies that they can no longer carry and transmute. The result is the outpicturing of the violence that man practices against man, returned through violent storms.

Storms are karmically drawn to the areas where misqualified energies are produced. Sometimes innocent people are in harms way of the storms spawned by the violence of others. But most of the time, karmic groups of like-minded people form, as in the New Orleans area.

The history of New Orleans paints the picture of a karma of a group of people who have become trapped in the lusts and misuses of the Mother Light. The French Quarter, New Orleans, is one of the most famous cities in the United States and was one of the largest in early America. But it is also one of the major cities of the pleasure cult, with every manner of perversions of the Mother Light, from jazz music that fills every bar, rampant drunkenness, drug use, voodoo, to practices of most every sexual perversion known to man. The creation and indulgence of the human ego is more important than development of one’s God flame, although there are hundreds of churches in the area. There is a large Christian community, with over a hundred Catholic churches, with the predominant religion of the area Southern Baptist with over five hundred Baptist churches.

Long ago, the voodoo queen, Marie Leveau, changed voodoo into much more than just an African superstition, but an acceptable practice of religion in New Orleans. She is responsible for bringing the Virgin Mary into Voodoo as the central figure of worship and she borrowed freely to bring Catholic traditions into the culture.

The actual religion of Voodoo originated from the ancient practices of Africa. Voodoo is widely practiced in Haiti where slaves devoted rituals to the power of nature and the spirits of the dead. For many enslaved Africans, such spiritual traditions provided a means of emotional and spiritual resistance to the hardships of life.

Louisiana was originally a French territory, settled in 1700’s at the mouth of the Mississippi river. At that time only native Indians inhabited the land. Voodoo came to New Orleans through the African slaves brought over by the Spanish, who settled in the late 1700’s. The Company of the West also caused an influx of Africans from West Africa, Haiti, Belize, Virginia, and South Carolina. At the end of the nineteenth century, a major influx of 10,000 settlers from French Haiti and other islands of the Caribbean immigrated to the United States into New Orleans. The United States purchased the Louisiana territory in 1803 and Louisiana became a US state in 1812.

In the 19th century New Orleans was a huge shipping port, built on trade from around the world. The city was a mix of French, African, Spanish, with large Irish and Italian communities. This made for a melting pot of rhythms and melodies that fueled the early sounds and beginnings of jazz, with New Orleans later becoming the birthplace of jazz.

By the turn of the 20th century, New Orleans was a wide-open city where gambling, horse racing, or playing music were favorite pastimes, and of course, the most famous activity of the city is the Mardi Gras parade and festivities. Parades and celebrations have long been a part of the area. Mardi Gras day was first established in 1699 by a French Canadian at a place he called Point du Mardi Gras. The history of what is known today as Mardi Gras is long and detailed, which I won't cover here.

Mardi Gras is French meaning: mardi, Tuesday + gras, fat, or Fat Tuesday. It is always celebrated the day before Ash Wednesday, which is the beginning of Lent, and for Catholics that means sacrifice. So, Mardi Gras is a last bash before Lent. But one day of partying became not enough, so the festivities typically start on the Feast of Epiphany (January 6th) and come to a climax on Mardi Gras day (sometime in early March.) Today the fasting and spiritual aspect of Lent following the celebration, is practically long forgotten. Officially, Carnival comes to an end promptly at midnight on "Fat Tuesday," when the police begin to clean the streets of the French Quarter, and officially closes with the meeting of the Courts of Rex and Comus at the Ball of the Mystick Krewe of Comus.

While Spain was controlling New Orleans in the 1700’s, a much stricter Catholic moral code was introduced. Yet the colony thrived under the Spanish who wisely expanded trade opportunities. Despite the Spanish affinity for a solemn Sunday, the Afro-Creole indigents saw their freedoms expanded, even using their market earnings to purchase their freedom against their owner’s wishes. The Afro-Creole tradition of gathering on Sundays for music and dance at a marketplace plaza on the periphery of the French Quarter was the community's most important weekly event. Nowhere else in North America were blacks accorded the freedom to dance and drum in a public environment of their own choosing. Authorities would eventually try to restrict the cultural practices to the most popular spot, Place des Negres or Congo Square.

By the mid 1840's New Orleans was one of America's great cities, the fourth largest as well as owner of the country's second largest port. When Louisiana became a state, the city consisted of just the 1300 structures in the French quarter and about 8,000 inhabitants over half of whom were black.

Mardi Gras processions in New Orleans had long been the norm, and historians have chosen the official date of its inception as 1857, when the Mystic Krewe of Comus, Merrie Monarchs of Mirth introduced torch-lit nighttime parades. A "krewe" is a coined word meaning an organization that puts on a parade and or a ball for Mardi Gras. Members of Comus Krewe are always masked when appearing in public events, and their identities are supposed to remain unknown. In 1837, a costumed group of revelers walked in the first documented “parade,” but the violent behavior of maskers during the next two decades caused the press to call for an end to Mardi Gras. It was the Comus organization in 1857 that formed to save the Mardi Gras and they created the first krewe.

In 1909, members of a group of laborers belonging to a mutual aid society called "The Tramps" form. Out of this group formed the Zulu SA & PC. (The Social Aid & Pleasure Clubs.) The Zulu people are from South Africa and it was in 1879 that the Anglo-Zulu war occurred with the British. The Tramps members decided to satirize the conventions of white New Orleans Mardi Gras. Their first Zulu King wore raggedy pants, a lard can crown and carried a banana stalk as his regal scepter, mocking the pompous pageantry of high society. Members of the Zulus would paint their faces with black and white makeup for the parades and up until the end of the 20th century, would wind their way around the outskirts without standard parade routes, as they were only allowed to parade on the back streets, as it was illegal to use the main thoroughfares to parade for a black krewe.

In 1969 the krewe’s founders wanted to attract national attention and make Carnival more accessible. They created the largest floats in Carnival history, hired a Hollywood celebrity and put the Mardi Gras on the map.

Perhaps the greatest change in Mardi Gras in the 1980’s was the tremendous increase in tourism during the Carnival season. Conventions which once had avoided New Orleans at Mardi Gras used the celebration as a reason to assemble here. International media attention was focused on Mardi Gras in the late 1980s, with camera crews from Japan, Europe and Latin America. Mardi Gras became a year-round industry as more off-season conventions experienced the joys when they were treated to mini-parades and repeat balls held in the city’s convention facilities. Mardi Gras’ annual economic impact was nearing the billion dollar mark until political intervention decreased the size and scope, with a new city ordinance.

New Orleans was both famous and infamous for these masking and parading clubs or social organizations. Most Krewes developed from private social clubs that have restrictive membership policies. In 1992 a city ordinance was passed which demanded more open Krewe membership in return for parade permits. The segregation was coming to an end. Three of the most historic and aristocratic krewes, Comus, Momus and Proteus protested the government’s intrusion into their affairs and elected to discontinue their parades rather than open up their membership.

The Blue and Violet Race from Africa
All this history of this one major city on the Gulf Coast lays the foundation of the peoples who inhabit the area. Through the Ascended Masters’ Teachings we have learned that the black race embodied in Africa in this age were the original blue and violet race who left off the golden age and turned from the Light to engage in voodoo practices. Their subsequent karma was their enslavement.

The members of this race were sent to earth to endow the earth with their qualities of the blue ray in God's power, faith and will and the qualities of God's freedom, justice and mercy on the violet ray. Due to the infiltration of Earth with fallen angels and aliens from other worlds, the blue and violet races were taught distorted practices, opening the door to voodoo, witchcraft and black magic. Warring factions arose as the people turned to anger and hatred, vying for power and becoming a superstitious people. They were succumbing to the divide and conquer tactics of the fallen angels, and losing the battle of maintaining their inner contact with the Light and I AM Presence.

The division, both within and without, allowed the race to become enslaved under the aliens. The Ascended Master Afra, who was the first to ascend from this race, reembodied among them in the attempt to enlighten them. He identified the one missing trait that he perceived in them—their lack of brotherhood.

The story goes that the Lord asked the people of Afra if they would be willing to lay down their lives for their kinsmen and friends, their answer was the same as Cain's: "Am I my brother's keeper?" After Cain slew his brother, the Lord said unto Cain, ‘Where is Abel, thy brother?’ And Cain said, ‘I know not. Am I my brother's keeper?" The ego is exposed in that one answer. The one who answers no to that question is dedicated to his own ego and he will never be his brother's keeper. Without the balance of love, wisdom and power within his being, eventually the divine spark within, in the threefold flame, will die.

The Ascended Master Afra knew that some of his people had already lost their threefold flame. In order to regain that flame, they would have to follow a path of brotherhood in caring for one another. So he sought to teach them to be a brother to all through example of being a brother himself. But his people rejected him as the Christ amongst them, crucifying him in their blindness with their greed for power.

This division of races due to color, and the present day black race often portrayed as the “lesser” or inferior race, is due to the continuing division of these people. They have been enslaved and abused, driven to living in low levels of poverty, even yet while in the land of abundance in America. This is because they must choose whom they will serve—a higher standard of living and increased comforts or the higher way of the Light with its many sacrifices.

Gambling in the Gulf Coasts
The most liberal gambling laws are in Mississippi, where casinos make several billion dollars a year. Mississippi legalized gambling only in counties that voted for it in local referendums. The counties must border navigable waters–essentially the Mississippi River and the Gulf of Mexico.

The black race has the highest poverty levels in the United States with Mississippi and Louisiana having the highest poverty levels of all the states, the two hardest hit areas of this last hurricane. Since 1992 gambling has been the means to increase the state’s economy and raise the standard of living for thousands. Casino barges moved into the Gulf Coast, at the tune of 30 barges by the end of the 90’s.

Afra has told us that when materialization reaches its peak, there are only two courses that are open to a civilization: either material decline and decay because of indulgence, or spiritual transcendence through the alchemy of the Holy Spirit. Americans ought to heed Beloved Afra, as many have risen to this peak of materialism, foregoing their spiritual heritage and growth.

Tunica, Mississippi, is now the third-largest casino town in the country with 16,000 casino jobs created there in the once most impoverished city in the nation. The people in Mississippi have made their choice.

Beloved Serapis Bey in 1988 said in a release that the misuse and misqualification of the Divine Mother is predominant in these gambling houses where people come for sensual pleasure saying:

“For through the gambling entity and all else that ensues around it, controlled by the money beast and often by organized crime, there is the stealing of the light of the base chakra and its channeling therefore into the fallen ones of the earth. For that which one surrenders to the money beast and the gambling entity may not be returned to that individual, for it is lost.

Thus, the sign of the cosmic cross of white fire does portend and foretell even at inner levels to every soul of this city that one cannot serve the Divine Mother and the Moloch * of human greed. *a tyrannical power propitiated by human subservience.

Therefore, beloved, choose ye this day whether to enter the fiery coil of the ascension of the Divine Mother (and therefore to deprive those vultures of the astral plane of their booty, who wait to take your light) and thus to focus within your being a counterforce of ascension’s rising flame that thereby the momentum of gambling may not spread further throughout the nations of the earth, fed and fueled by the money beast and the rationalization “Let us do evil that good may come; let us use the funds for state projects and education,” all feeding again and again upon the credulity, wishful thinking that one can acquire attainment by luck–or whether to go the way of the squandering of the Divine Mother’s light and abundant life within you!”**

Voodoo and Jazz in the Gulf Coasts
The practice of voodoo with voodoo shops and even a voodoo museum can be found in the historic French Quarter. The French Quarter is the place for drunken decadence and every manner of sensual pleasure, from food to sex. New Orleans Jazz fills the air to provide the musical entertainment.

Saint Germain has said in the “Intermediate Studies in Alchemy that these practices are straight out of Sodom and Gomorrah:

“The sacred fire has been distorted through the misuse of sex, and sacred music has been aborted through the introduction of astral and voodoo rhythms. The new moralities of the people must be seen for what they are—simply the old and sordid outworkings of Sodom and Gomorrah come again.” 1

In my discourse on the challenges we face today with jazz and rock music coming into the churches, I explain some of the negative effects of discordant music, reminding us that Lord Shiva has told us that absolutely nothing constructive comes out of jazz music. He said:

“The Lords of Karma anticipated the age when the fallen ones would emerge by the voodoo rhythm from the very pit of the astral plane. And therefore, centuries upon centuries before this hour of crisis upon Terra when mankind would be destined to meet the dweller on the threshold, the Lords of Karma have sent forth the great composers to show the people of light what is the proper mode and rhythm and expression of harmony.” 2

It was in this same dictation that he released in Miami, Florida, where there were released electrodes of energy of the Mother:

“Beloved ones, I stand now in Manhattan. I stand in the center of the obelisk brought long ago from Egypt. I stand in the center of that pillar. I radiate energies to the obelisks of Atlantis at that point in London and in Egypt and wherever upon earth this sacred form is manifest, and I send forth a light of white fire. These electrodes of energy will release on a time cycle certain energies of the Mother–of the Shakti of Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva and of the Mother light within you.” 2

Miami is the base chakra of America. It is there that many Haitians have brought their voodoo practices up from Haiti. It was there that hurricane Katrina first hit American landfall, causing flooding while yet only a category one hurricane, before hastening up to the Gulf Coast increasing to a category five. New York is the third eye chakra of America. Lord Shiva is activating the principle focuses of light on this planet for a purpose. The chakras of America are meant to be focuses of light, and we find today that these areas are instead focuses of great darkness and perversions of the Mother Light.

Miami has seen its share of racial tensions with street riots and violence. The city has become a melting pot of Latin and Hispanic Americans originally from Nicaragua, Haiti, Cuba, and South America, with 57% Hispanic/Latino’s and 20% African Americans. Having lived close to Miami for many years, I know the tension between Miami and the rest of Florida, is not an easy brotherly coexistence. They have created their own world of Hispanic (Little Havena) and Haitian (Little Haiti) communities where English speaking residents are the foreigners in their own country. Boat loads of impoverished Haitian illegal immigrants regularly try and sneak ashore. Haiti is the poorest nation in the Western hemisphere.

In earlier years, many Haitians immigrated to the Bahamas as the situation worsened in Haiti. The Bahamians estimate that Haitians make up at least 25% of the population today. But earlier figures said the population of the Bahamians was said to have been 85% of African descent, which would make their calculations now much less, since their are a few Anglo-Saxon people. The Lucayan Indians were the original inhabitants of the islands, but the Spanish shipped them off as slaves to Cuba and the whole race became extinct. The Spanish also brought over their African slaves while others arrived with the British.

After hurricane Jeanne finished dumping her heavy rains over Haiti in 2004, she moved up to the Bahamas and ravaged several islands there. Just three weeks before Jeanne hit the Bahamas, Hurricane Frances had crossed over many of the islands. Grand Bahama island was just recovering when Jeannie struck, wielding a second blow, fiercely battering the island and causing flooding of up to five feet. There were already many impoverished Haitians in illegal residence on Grand Bahama, and their poor living conditions were worsened from the two hurricanes.

I have lived in the Bahamas for several years while working on a military base. The Bahamians were generally living in the same impoverished conditions on the island that we were on that one sees in pictures of Haiti. I also traveled by boat around the islands and many were cut off from civilization and the industrialized world, living off of the sea for their main source of food and what meager fresh food they could grow on rocky, sandy soil.

Imprisonment of Elements with Voodoo and Black Magic
The Ascended Masters’ teachings reveal that hurricanes are the direct result of the black magicians and their imprisonment of the elementals. But they are not the only ones imprisoning elementals. Anyone who practices black magic and witchcraft, including voodoo, are manipulating the elemental kingdom.

Beloved Oromasis and Diana, hierarchs of the elementals said in 1980:

“The fallen ones have long ago recognized the value of controlling the beings of the elements. This they do through the bloodletting of voodoo ceremony and satanic rite, invoking demoniac forces of the astral plane and casting spells of death and destruction and hexes that hypnotically bind the elementals to do their bidding.” 3

I AM THAT I AM Directs Storm
We see the common thread running through the areas hit by these violent storms and causing massive flooding. When the storm was hours away from the Gulf shores, the Masters let me know that I AM THAT I AM was directing this storm. And that power must be directing this storm through God in the physical plane. Kim and I were directed to be that source of God power through our free will. I was pointed to the area the eye of the hurricane was to hit, just East of the French Quarter. We were also directed to visualize the flooding of the French Quarter, the hotbed of decadence where places, like on Bourbon Street, have turned into a stretch of porn shops, strip joints and hooter bars.

Most of the night I monitored the storm and kept my vision on the center of the storm crossing over East of Bourbon Street. By early morning hours of Monday, many news media were heralding the saving of the French Quarter, as word came in that areas to the East were flooding, but no water was reaching the French Quarter. One levee was breached earlier, but the storm had weakened and everyone was relieved the eye missed New Orleans, crossing over just east of New Orleans, as directed by I AM THAT I AM.

All eyes were on New Orleans because of the fact that the city is almost 12 feet below sea level in certain areas. But massive flooding occurred elsewhere over Mississippi, Louisiana and Alabama with 80% of the homes on Grand Isle in Louisiana completely obliterated as well as many areas that are slowly coming to the light of day as rescue teams go in and find nothing left.

All Monday morning I could barely move as my body energy was used to focus power to direct this storm. By noon Eastern time the storm was well past New Orleans and downgraded to a category two. At which time Kim and I went about our regular business, understanding that the work was done in directing. I was surprised that no flooding occurred as so directed, but knew that the storm that could not be stopped was at least directed to the the area karmicly due this massive creation.

It was not until the next day that Lake Pontchartrain began breaching more levees and started flooding the French Quarter. At this present time, 80% of New Orleans is under water and the water is still rising.

Our hearts go out to the victims. But as Saint Germain has just released in his discourse on the karmic understanding of Katrina and the state of the Nation, we must not be sympathetic, but compassionate and put our prayers to the best use to awaken those asleep to the materialism and pleasure cult desirings that have nothing to do with our purpose here on earth or the Golden Age consciousness.

Beloved Hercules and Amazonia direct us on being the hands and feet of our beloved El Morya, Lanello and Mother Mary, and I must include Saint Germain and Jesus. He said:

"Beloved ones, we come to ask you to consider a more fervent chelaship on the first ray, to truly come to the understanding of being El Morya in manifestation, of being Lanello and Mother Mary—to truly increase that will of God with decrees and to be prepared for the backlash and for the challenge to meet it with violet flame and joy and not to allow the power of God to draw you into cycles of irritation or anxiety or anger or argumentation or misuse of the sacred fire.

For power is the most difficult equation of life. It determines who, then, is sinner or saint, who is of the Light and who is not. For those who receive a little bit often become potentates in their own fiefdoms and immediately encircle themselves as prince of the realm, sending this one here and this one there and being in control.

But this desire to be in control, beloved ones, is seated in fear. Even the chelas themselves desire in some way to control the Messenger for their own sense of security. This can become a stifling experience to the Darjeeling Council, who then cannot use the Messenger as they would use her but must bear also the burden of those who somehow by association determine that they will steal the Light rather than earn it. It all boils down to this, beloved ones: Some determine to become the Light; some find one from whom they can curry it with favors."4

We are not here to just soak up the Light for our own glory or human ego pampering. We are here for a mission. And Saint Germain has made clear this morning in his discourse, that we are here to bring in the Golden Age and be the forerunners. We can do it. But we must be wise as serpents and harmless as doves. There is much work to do and being caught up in our daily lives we might forget that although our families and jobs are important, we must go about the business of living while yet keeping our focus and mind as high as possible in the realm of the immaculate concept. Life needs our God vision. The Masters cannot do it all for us. I leave you with beloved Lady Master Venus' words from 1966:

"So, blessed ones, the weavings of mankind will determine its fate. You can but stand as emissaries of heaven and pray for man’s salvation and for the salvation of your God. Unless man turns and the tide of aggressive energy is turned, the consequences to this earth will be startling. They will be self-destructive, for this is the Law.

I have spoken this day in the name of your God and my God, that ye come not to me after the flood and say, “Why did you not tell us? You are our mentors.” We have told you for thousands of years, beloved ones. And so we say it again so that mankind may know now and for all eternity: The responsibility lies with you."

......He said: “Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.” The resurrection of the Christ is a feat for all to demonstrate; it is the feat of the ages, the action of divine reunion whereby the photons of light descend from the very heart of God and raise the pattern of perfection in man until he stands as one with the Godhead."
